Blevins Backyard Birds - The Snowy Edition
After taking up wildlife photography just last year, I have been enjoying taking photos of birds just in my own backyard. And I figured there would be no better time to catch some good shots than right after a good snow. There is a good variety of birds here in North Carolina. This video includes Cardinals, Carolina Wrens, White Throated Sparrows, Tufted Titmouse, and the Eastern Towhee (which I had never noticed before).

2023 Rivers Edge Buddy Trip (front 9)

We took a nice trip to Shallotte, NC to play in my good friend's new neighborhood of Rivers Edge. This is a beautiful course. Unfortunately, we played after there had been quite a bit of rain and we were forced to use cart paths only. I assume, with the amount of rain they had, it explains the watery bunkers and hairy, slow greens. Normally, this is place is in pristine condition.
Buddy's Memorial Video

My brother-in-law Mitch lost his dog and best friend, Buddy, just this past Saturday. A Shih Tzu dog that he rescued from the middle of the road around 2015 (we think). He passed peacefully. This little fellow and Mitch were inseparable. I put together this short memorial to Buddy that shows their companionship to each other. We miss you Buddy.

My wife and I took a nice (last minute) drive to the Blueridge Parkway. Our normal route we travel.
