I recall watching Coronation Street as a very young boy in the late-1970s and always enjoyed the banter between Rita & Mavis in the kabin 😆 Lovely to see they’re still great-mates in real-life, evokes memories of care-free days when we could laugh more freely 😉

Excellent, my daughter got to meet Mavis on her 93 birthday in McDonald's Plymouth. My daughter although diagnosed with Momgolism can communicate using 'communication buttons ' and kindly Mavis spent twenty minutes communicating with my daughter . A lovely woman. ❤

Thelma is 96 and Barbra is 93. Last year Rita turned 95 and Thelma became a year older than her daughter .

Wow, she looks so good for 90. Bless her. I am 68 and I remember being young enough that I had to go to bed just as Corrie was starting. Its been a lot of years!

A nice Lady but a poor actress.

My rancid mother in law described my mam as a Mavis many years ago. My mam is now 92, and so beautiful and elegant that people remark on it. That in-law died aged 66. Bliss ensued.

She reminds me so much of my Gran.
