How magnificent voice!
This is cute! But I don’t see the interest of singing like this with a thin and under developed voice. Singing can be so much more exciting and vibrant.
Orlinskis voice is neither under developped nor thin: This is a baroque piece in which setting the counter tenor voice fits perfectly. Moreover Orlinskis voice is thick with overtones and tempre in regards of his voice register.

@@Stan-j3jYes my ears must be underdeveloped because I don’t hear any vibrato in the high notes of this singer. Also I hear bad vibrato (too fast) in the middle notes that is in fact called caprino (the little vibrato that a goat does). When a voice is well developed and healthy there should be a good vibrato (not too fast) though out the whole range. I suppose that with your good ears you hear that. This is just one example to illustrate what my under developed ears don’t hear. There would be a long list of defects to mention about this way of singing.
@@marcelbureau2753 I do not even think that Jakub wants to use vibrato in Baroque music. He aims to sing mostly with a straight voice. Whatever appears in his singing is done on purpose. You like it, or not.

Only the Catholic spirituality that the Poles are immersed in from birth, can breed that level of talent…it permeates Orlinski’s voice, demeanor and his nearly celestial deliverance of the Masterpieces not coincidentally created by deeply religious Catholics of the Baroque era. Also, you have to be comprehensively educated about the music history like Orlinski, to be able to internalize it and subsequently truthfully express and communicate it to others in the way he does. Chesterton was a great admirer of the Polish culture and her Christian spirit.
