เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 22 ส.ค. 2016
When I started this channel I was in my 16th year of planting soybean on the small Family Farm. I wanted to create a place where I could share the videos I've been making with others who might be interested in seeing them. Thanks for subscribing and watching.

Do you happen to know the part number of the grease seal? I can’t seem to find one that fits properly.
Thank you for the video - I'm going to try out your penetrometer design
Mrs SBF, I did not know about SBF's going home until today 11 28 2024. I pray your heart is healing. God bless you.
ive got a set of quad flexi 71 planters they are awesome!!
Rest in Peace SBF!!
If you're not gonna plant in the rip row you'll be disappointed
i was thinking similar but also pulling a chisel plow behind with spikes and maybe a rollingnpacker after a row or two of spring tooth harrow. so basically pulling 2 implements. we farm way up in fringe of crop land in Canada. biggest problem. here is short season and soil staying cold-wet in spring. zero till is out for sure. lots of farmers pull heavy harrows to spread and bury some trash lightly before some fieldwork fert application 8n fall. thanks for sharing with us.
Anyone ever put SeaFoam in their ATV oil?

A little bit of lock-tight thread adhesive on the bolts will keep the depth bands from falling off.
It's a great product and works well when used as directed. www.amazon.com/Loctite-1329467-Medium-Strength-Threadlockers/dp/B009I2UC3Q/ref=asc_df_B009I2UC3Q/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=693270349614&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=12762410012769163853&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9009721&hvtargid=pla-312799887038&psc=1&mcid=285eca7fcac73563b484da0123806ca9&gad_source=1 Thanks for bringing this back to my memory.
I'm gonna miss ol Scotty. Hope you're doing okay, bud!
Looks great.
Thank you, Tim.
Very good video, It's good see you out and about again. I can hear the strength in your voice. I know these times are likely tough and I'm glad Stephen and you have each other to continue on with. Sicklepod and morningglory have become my main target weeds. It is concerning to me that there are very little good pre-emerge chemicals for sicklepod. I hate relying solely on post chemicals. Take care sir, yall are continuously in my prayers.
I've been completely and totally satisfied with the results I get from Liberty on Sicklepod and Morning Glory. In a tank mix where I have 1.5 oz of liberty per gallon knocks a homerun on those two nemesis weeds, Sicklepod and morning glory. RoundUp alone doesn't really do much. Stephen, to me has been a gift from God, a true blessing he has been. Thank you very much for watching the video and leaving me a comment to enjoy. Thank you for your kind and encouraging words. 🙂🙏🙂
You Guys sort of threw me a Curve....... When I read "Burn Down" BURN DOWN to me is a complete KILL.... Nothing left alive and growing Which when we Strip-Tilled Cotton & Peanuts we did, So You scared Me!!!! Good to see an effective POST Emergent, Application instead.....
On my part it was a poor choice of words. I did think about it afterwards, but neglected to change it. David, I hope things are well with you. It's nice to see you here, my friend. 🙂🙏🙂
You prompted me to change the title of this video. I think we will both find it more correct now. 🙂
Man yeah, that worked out perfectly!!! Really love the drone footage of the burndown status!! Thank you Mr SBF, yiu and Stephen are doing well!! 😁😁👍👍👍🙏🏻🙏🏻🌱🌱🌱
Nelson, my friend. Thank you very much for being here. It means a lot to me. 🙂🙏🙂
Great results SBF and Stephen . At this time do you think you have killed the weeds as these pictures look to show spectacular results? As I recall over time in previous years with similar crops you have had similar looking results (ie defoliate the weeds) only for them to fight back and bring further issues later in the crops life. Best wishes from Dan Whiteford
First off hi, Dan, great to see you here. Dan, there were 2 issues here. First issue was improper use of hersides in other words, not dosing strong enough. Under this condition, the weeds did return to be a problem. After overcoming that problem, all that was left to contend with was what's referred to as long season germination. Which morning glory and water hemp are both capable of. This reason is why I consider row canopy at the earliest possible time to be so important. I think long season germination is going to be an issue, but on a plus note with the row spacing matching up to the Tires Like it does probably won't be much drive down on a second spray pass. Time will tell thanks for your comment, Dan. 🙂🙏🙂
You guys put a hurten on those Weeds. Nice work . We just keep going and do what we can -- Take breaks when you need it SBF. 🌿🌿🌽🌽🌽
Peter Thank you very much, and thanks for being here. Supporting the channel by watching the videos. 🙂🙏🙂
Good to see you out in the fields SBF - Weeds sure loved all the rain - Stephen has that tractor dialed in - good job guys
Yes, Stephen did a fine job. He definitely paid attention to what he was doing, so pleased with him. 🙂🙏🙂
Looking good ✌🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
John Thank you very much, my friend great to see you here.🙂
That was a stunning kill SBF, thanks for the update
Jan Thank you very much great to see you here, my friend. 🙂🙏🙂
Beans are looking good and the spray job worked well. Take care. Thx
If we can continue to get rain, I think this is going to be a good crop. Thank you very much for being here Supporting the channel by watching the videos. 🙂🙏🙂
👍👍
Thomas Thanks for watching and being here. 🙂
Always thought that was incredible how resilient the beans are to be hit so hard and come back. Since Scott chose the smaller tractor to work with this year, about how many more rows can be worked into the same size field?
Actually, I was planting on a fifteen inch row space Because I wanted to ensure I could make canopy within a reasonable time to block out sunlight and put a stop to any further weed germination. These rows are between 19 and 20 inch spacing, so there's less rows than what I would have had. Scott was concerned about the drive down. Because tires would go over the plants and mash them down. It would take them about a week to recover fully. Good to see you here son. Thanks for taking time out of your life to be here. 🙂🙏🙂
That cleaned up really nice! My soybeans are looking pretty weedy, hopefully I can get the co-op out to spray them soon. Thank you for the update Mr. Soybean Farmer! Hope you have a good one, Sir!
Evan, Hope you can get the co-op out there soon to take care of your beans. Thank you very much, Evan, for being here watching the videos. 🙂
Glad to see you both getting out there God Bless You Both.
Could not have done it without Stephen, so yes, both of us had to be out there. Thank you very much for being here watching the videos.
Scott had done a great job setting up the planter and planting. You have Stephen well dialed in on spraying and Stephen did a great job. God Bless you all and the Little Farm.
My friend, thank you so much for realizing Stephen was doing the majority of the work by driving the tractor for me and yes, he paid attention to what he was doing and did a fine job. Always a true treasure to me to find you here in the comments. My friend🙂
@@SoybeanFarmer3300 Continueous prayers for you and Stephen.
Wayne thank you my good friend. 🙂🙏🙂
Nice
And sweet too🙂 Thank you very much for being here, Gene 🙂
Ohh Yeah, now that's what I'm talking about!!!
Stephen was driving the tractor so I have to give him the majority of the credit because he was paying attention to what he was doing. But I did mix the tank. 🙂 Thank you very much for being here. My friend always a pleasure for me to find you here in the comments.🙂
Looks like you got a good scald on them weeds, bud!
Yup, put a burn on Em for sure. Great to see you hear in the comments. Thank you so much for taking time to be here. 🙂
