have you tried asics other shoe e.g magic speed 3 or metaspeed series? If so do you have same narrowness. I really like motion wrap upper.I run mainly technical trails so I am unsure the benefit of carbon plate.
The satire declaration hahahahahaha
Don’t listen to 79reynevan. I don’t have the time to write out all the reasons now, but ultimately all shoes can potentially help people at any pace dependent on so many factors. Pace does not necessarily eliminate the shoe as an option for you. It can influence how much help/hindrance the shoe provides. Imagine 2 shoes, one designed for “your pace” and one designed for elite paces. The one for your pace is too narrow, too firm (in your opinion) and doesn’t work with your mechanics and weight. The other shoe is perfect in every aspect, except it’s designed for elite paces. Which do you think you’ll run better in? Besides, Mizuno probably didn’t even test the shoe on non-elites, so we have no idea if it might be even better for average paces than elite paces. The only way for people to know is if TH-camrs like you post these videos. Keep it up, you’re helping someone. Given you’re a podiatrist, you probably don’t need my input, but wanted to show support.
Sorry dude, but those shoes are not for your pace.
@@79reynevan why’s that?
@Blake.Running.SportsPodiatrist Those shoes are super fast, and only by running fast, can you discover their capabilities. I mean 3:00-3:30 per km.
@ aw yeah got it. Why 3-3.30? Can you elaborate?
This is so good and so helpful! Differentials can be some of the hardest things for students like myself to wrap our heads around

i have this shoe but its snug in the mid foot. Would this be an issue for the achillies? (Diagnosed with achillies tendionpathy). if i size up it becomes too long and my other side would be too loose.
@@VinhLe-gy5xs no that won’t effect the Achilles unless it’s comfortable and changes your gait. Remember- high pitch (difference between front and back) is the importer factor for the Achilles.
My husband has this injury, along with fractured ankle, tibia. His foot looked like a fish bowl. He was on his motorcycle & hit by a truck. Right now we just have pins holding this together. We are coming home from rehab this week. He also has a fracture arm and this is all on the left side. He is doing good will be wheelchair until we have clearance for weight bearing. ( 3 months) is what we’re being instructed. He dislocated every joint in that foot. So blessed he is still with us. We’re in the US
Very serious injury. Hope all is well and wish you a good recovery.
"why not do it?"? Because, if osteoarthritis would let you continue things like strength-training, it wouldn´t be considered a disease.
