I'm Curt. I'm the author of Scary Stories: A Tribute To Terror. This is my channel. It features an intellectual buffet/cornucopia of media including my paranormal investigations, rare music, sketch comedy, the Blood OST, just everything I do and everything I get hung up on.

Wow!!!!! Thank you 🙏🏻
There are demons all around Zak.
just visted his museum two days ago.. explain how and why
Ways to go guys love them Zak sexy they are doing great job on ghost adventures and I just love him Zak ❤ he is smart. 🎉🎉❤
Whew... I'm glad you made it out the other side of that experience, man; sounds like you were a hair's breadth away from losing the f!ght. Thanks for sharing this stuff with us. I grew up a huge Scary Stories fan, and got your book as soon as it came out. Love it. And it's no wonder you were able to come up with such a creepy tone, given your experiences.
Oh hey! Thanks for reading the book. Glad you love it! I'm trying to get Shane to finish the art for the second one. Yeah I don't actually talk much about my experiences with demons in the book, although it certainly helped inspire the tone. What happened in real life is that when I was a kid, unbeknownst to me, something demonic started attaching itself to me. If you read the stories from the first chapter especially, those are referencing the beginning of that happening. Of something insidious creeping into an otherwise innocent space, like a disease. But then in my mid 20s, I started trying to tear open the door to astral projection, and when I did, those demons on the other side and could suddenly fully attack me. If you want to know exactly what it was like, watch A Nightmare on Elm Street 1 and 3. It was just like that, only a lot scarier, a lot more of them, but they weren't as immediately dangerous. Like they can't just insta-kill you. It was always a dream of mine to have a conversation with Zak about it and this just happened out of nowhere. It was meant to be. After this I went around the corner and was like "Did that just happen?" and then Zak comes running up and he's got holy palo santo wood that he went and grabbed out of his own gift shop. He's like "Hey Curtis. Take this with you. It will protect you in my museum." That was awesome!
@curttuckfield5565 This is reminding me more and more of some experiences I had, about 20 years ago. Me and a friend of mine, Vladi, with whom I'd practiced martial arts for years, started training in Kundalini yoga and various other meditation techniques with another friend of ours, Matt, who was rather an advanced practitioner. Long story short, it seems like some sort of astral projection started taking place during some of our meditation exercises. Matt had developed some unified field theories, based on his own experiences and what he'd read... Castaneda, for example... and warned me that things (inorganic entities, or inorganics, he called them) could find me out there, and latch on. At the same time, I started remembering some of my dreams, which contained unusual characters and themes. There were a few instances of lucid dreaming, too, and a couple times, I saw some unusual things with my waking eyes, also. Meanwhile, Vladi didn't seem to be astral projecting, but he might have been getting Kundalini sickness... he was experiencing personality changes, and his father died during that period, also. Anyway, eventually, I had a dream where I seemingly came to terms with whatever figure had been troubling me, and shortly thereafter, I stopped practicing that sort of meditation. The dreams stopped, the lucid dreaming stopped, and things went back to normal, for the most part. Sorry for writing that epistle. hah I don't talk about this stuff very often, as most people would think me a lunatic, if I did. But I can relate to your experiences, for sure. And, on a lighter note, I'll be looking forward to a fifth book to keep on my shelf; I keep your first one on the shelf, next to my three originals from the Scholistic Book Fairs, in the 90's. 👍👍
@curttuckfield5565 Man... I think the Machines may have hidden my comment; I can only see it after setting it on Newest First. It's getting just like The Terminator. 😅
@@TheShurikenZone I can see it just fine.
@@curttuckfield5565You can see the super long comment? Man... It's completely invisible on my end, unless I hit newest first. My YT account must be haunted. heh
Zak Bagans is the real deal. He takes his job seriously & he cares about people plus he’s passionate about what he does.
i have a feeling it's hard to get the sound exactly the same as it needs some sort of EQ..... but am just not sure, see it was less muddy sounding i'm sure.... maye it was them pc speakers a bit to i actually had a sound blaster pro myself, you could have a lesser soundblaster, and the 16 was double what the pro was
Ways to go guys love them Zak sexy they are doing great job on ghost adventures ❤❤
I can hear the slinking
this is not the worst song ever made. have you heard kanye?
Hey... How did u meet zak. ? How can i meet tooo?
I was at his museum in Las Vegas, and he just happened to walk by. He was there checking up on recent paranormal activity and a few days earlier filmed a new episode there with the GAC. So I went up and started talking to him.
@curttuckfield5565 wow.. Thanks for sharing... Do u know the days he appear there or something...
@@lisageorge6839 No, it was just a coincidence I happened to be there at the same moment. I have no idea how often he's there. More in the Ghost Adventures off season probably.
@curttuckfield5565 thank you curt
That’s awesome!
Hell yah thats bad ass, I didn't know you went through this dude
It started when I was a kid. But it wasn't until I was in my twenties, in 2007 when it just exploded. At first a part of me found it incredible and almost welcomed it, but it by 2008, reality started to hit me that I was in extreme danger and that it was intolerable. By 2011, I was beginning to go insane. I didn't sleep very much for several months and THEN went 9 days without any sleep because if you even closed your eyes, they were suddenly all around you, like in Nightmare on Elm Street. And then I did what I said in the video and it all ended instantly.
That’s so cool
Ticket please
"Out out,damned SPOT!
also this /vaguely/ reminds me of one of the first vaporwave albums ever made, Far Side Virtual by James Ferraro. Adventures in Green Foot Printing is a good song off of that album.
Yeah I just listened. It does a bit. THank you!
dude this kinda fuckin slaps
I freakin needed this to boost my anxiety levels in order for me to have the right motivation to write. So now I am 99% anxiety and 1% organic matter
Nice. What are you writing?
@@curttuckfield5565 About The reasons why I'm anxious LOL. I know I have anxiety for more than a decade. I never went to professionals though
dont you want to record this in real instruments?!
It would be great to do this entire album with real instruments. The only problem is that you'd need marimba, vibraphone, hammond organ, and about 40 other instruments I don't own. Also, most of the songs are extremely complex and some stuff like the latter half of Da Monga is likely impossible to play on guitar. I can play Spade on guitar but haven't tried any of the others.
This song could be done though.
hi! i like!
Thanks! Appreciate it!
I left the US in 93 as a 7 year old. One of the few memories i have from the states is listening to imagination station for hours, calling in any chance i had.
I love the illustrations because they feel like Stephen Gammell and Tim Jacobus hybrids!
Thank you. We'll take that as a compliment!
That is so freakin' awesome..

2:19 4:27 2:36 4:45 3:37 6:28 The Fortune Teller was the killer *all along.* He made the dog run away, he put gasoline around the house so it could burn to the ground, and now... he's holding a rope to choke her to death. Everything he says will come true. *It always does.*
Bro…. I bet AJ was having lots of fun voicing the puppet man and the puppets 😂
Whatever happened to Micheal? Did he manage to escape the room? Did he too become part of the scrapbook? We may never know.
Although the story was based on a real girl who used to stalk me, the ending was based on a dream I had when I was twelve, around the same time I was being stalked. A creepy girl took me into her room and it played out exactly like that. She opened the scrapbook and I saw those things. And then I woke up. As for Michael, even I have wondered what happened to him immediately after that. You're right. We may never know.

Hoping it was a hope vid and not disappointed. Finally got a copy and about to dig in. Hey Curtis my dog, keep riffing them little cigars. Might be on to something.
Why does this make me think of Pee Wee's Playhouse? I kind of dig it.
Will you ever make sequels?
We're trying to finish the sequel right now.
Can't wait, thank you for your hard work
I totally have Great Scott’s autograph on his headshot from back in the day!
4:23 Whenever I think about this sentence every time I use the bathroom at night, it shivers down my spine to see if he was in the living room. And whenever I come out of the bathroom, I run towards my room and lock the door real tight.
Out of curiosity, how old are you btw?
@@curttuckfield5565 15 now. I still remember that same sentence. It scares me... *a l o t .*

I'm actually enjoying this!
I’m trippin on my ass to this great job 👏
Very cool! One of the various vibes I was actually searching for! :)
Curt, I've been a Scary Stories fan since I was a kid in the early 90's... we may be about the same age... and I love seeing you guys bring this to the current generation. Your book has been on my shelf for a few years, right next to my original copies of the Scary Stories books, and I reach for it and read a story or three, periodically. Both the stories and illustrations are gold, and the best tribute I could imagine. My better half gave me my copy of your book; she read the originals as a kid, and has never quite gotten over it. It says a lot that she's just as unnerved by the physical presence of A Tribute to Terror, as she is by my old volumes. Sorry for writing an epistle, but I wanted to drop you a note and some congratulations. You guys knocked it out of the park. 👍👍
Thank you so much for that, Ryan! We spent several years making that book and so it means a lot. Glad you have the book on your shelf next to the others. That's how I initially saw it in dreams I was having. People often try to make video games into movies or reboot the Twilight Zone or do various things like this that usually end up missing the point and we just wanted to actually do it justice which is why we spent so much time on it. I'm very grateful that people like you have accepted it as fitting in with the original books. Thanks for understanding the project and we're happy that you got something out of it. And thank you for such a heartfelt comment. Oh, and cool ninja weapon videos BTW!
@curttuckfield5565 Scary Stories is clearly in you guys' blood; it's become a part of your psyche, deep down, and that has to be a big part of why you were able to make this project such a success. Thanks so much for writing back, and also for taking a gander at my eccentric little contribution to the TH-cam melange. haha 😁
@@curttuckfield5565 nice they look invested in your wonderful book! 😊
