I’ve learned the things I can and can’t control. Either we can fight our battles or we can let God fight our battles, but only one of us can fight them at a time. @@michaelfloriani9460 That is a misinterpretation there my friend. The idea is to work through your labor and then have your money invested into profitable ventures to earn the dividends. This can be working a labor intensive job and using the money to invest in a 401k plan, buy stocks, purchase a rental property, start a business to employ others, etc. This is just one way wealth can be achieved. I hope this clarifies the book and beliefs it entails.

@ much more solidarity and sustainability in pooling resources with others rather than submitting to a rat race in hopes of one day being a Rockefeller. The purchasing of any capital to leverage others into laboring in one’s stead is slavery to a degree: It funnels value away from the community into few hands, creating a self-perpetuating aristocracy; it objectifies uses and necessities into commodities, alienating humanity from its own life; it forces austerity onto its subjects, furthering their community from acquiring the means to create its own value. It’s hard to discern investment from appropriation or frugality from pauperism when we’re taught to be frugal with scraps and invest into monopolies.

It was another experiment with some of the items I had on hand. I made a stew from the turkey broth after Thanksgiving too. Thank you for the suggestions.

@DavidGaines26 yes I use to grow them a couple years ago. The sunflower heads would get huge. Know I grow mexican sunflower and native sunflowers because they produce more small flower.
