My personal rule of thumb with cereal crops is Harvest then fertilized mulch the stubble and then you can fertilize again after that you can cultivate or if necessary plow then lime if necessary seed and roll

You can see the little pale white tractor icon top left above the keypress menu right? That willtell you which implement on the tractor is 'live'.

Using a frontloader competently is one of the hardest skills for the new player. Especially pallet forks, bale spikes, log grabs. Frontloader buckets are the easiest.

Also, keep an eye out for 'collectables'. These can be any object, depending on the map creator. On Riverbend they are old machinery for a museum. There is a small monetary reward. So look everywhere with the top left menu showing.

You should buy a pickup truck. Handy for the odd pallet that YOU can lift or lift with a pallet fork, like your honey pallet.Not all pallets are 'liftable' though by you. Unless you cheat by using 'Superstrength'. See if you can lift your power washer.

You did check the crop calendar before you started to plant the wheat right?

Another thing GWS. You ALWAYS go clockwise round a field when doing Headlands, especially when using a Harvester/Combine. On most Combines the offload pipe in on the left.so making it easier to empty into a trailer. This also stops the Tractor/Trailer combo from having to drive onto the crop to offload the combine. Of course when doing Ups 'n' Downs, you unload the combine when the pipe doesn't overhang crop.

It can be interesting to try unconventional methods to get things done but they don't always work out. I feel a wall of text incoming, hope it is not to boring. If you are looking for unconventional ways to move the pressure washer a tool that grabs like a Bale Handler RBG, or the log fork works. You can just go into the build menu (SHIFT + P) top selection, subsection Tools, and place the washer where every you want on the map directly. If you want to manually move the power washer use a trailer like the Stema Trius (under category miscellaneous, miscellaneous) or the DTS 5.9 (category trailers, low loaders). Both have ramps you can drive the power washer up. The ramps for the Trius are kind of hidden if you don't know they are an option. You press the "U" key a few times to change the tip side to "tip side (ramp)", then press "Y" to unfold ramp. Use the mouse to more the ramps closer together. Always remember to press "L" to strap down anything you put in a trailer so it doesn't accidentally go flying. If you would like to move tools like the forks or others things you can control with the mouse, try the keys J,K,M,N. More complex tools also use Left Shift and/or Left Control as modifiers. This can get a bit confusing. Front weights act as a counter balance to heavy tools on the back of the tractor. If you find your tractor does not turn properly or feels floaty, especially with the tool in the raised position, you may be back heavy. You can also put a weight on the back when picking up something heavy with your front loader. Rear tire weights provide weight and traction to pull difficult tools for fieldwork. If your tractor is light or the tool big your tires will slip. For steering assist when you set up a tractor + tool you will notice the lines are bright white. After driving on a green line you can see that once you are off the line it turns grey, indicating that line has been driven on. I find that driving the entire length of the green guide line ensures I have finished that line. I also double check the map occasionally. Switching tools, dropping a tool, restarting a save, or anything that makes the game forget that specific steering assist route will remove the gray lines.

I just found your second channel, I love your Oblivion playthrough on your other channel but I also love the sim games you play 🧡 I don't know if you've already explained so apologies if you have, for the sim games you were already playing on your main channel (motel manager, supermarket sim...), are they gone completely in favour of the new playthroughs here on this channel?😊 I've never played this game but I love farming sims so i'm sure i'll enjoy it 😊

The Boeckmann Trailer Pack has a trailer that you unfold and can drive the washer onto it, or just sell it and buy it while on your farm as @skinny4139 suggested. Your doing fine as a new farmer. Yes sell your cows and the cow pasture and replace it with a green house or two ( big money maker ). Thanks for another great video.

Buy the power washer from the build menu under tools and place down at farm

maybe its just me but i think you might enjoy the game even more with a controller even on PC. Also when you use the GPS/Assist check the working direction/angle your using. sometimes you're better off changing it to less sharp turns/angles, therefor making it easier.

Green tractor can be upgraded to add front end loader so you can pick up pallets like your honey ot bales when you start baleing. Upgrades can be done at the shop ( when you are faceing the shop look right you will see a building with green doors in the distance go there to customize or get repairs

Mulching 3% yeild bonus rolling 2% yeild bonus

That spreader is ajustable at max it has a 42 meter spread so trust the lines. You can fertilize the day you plant and on the next game day during first stage of growth

I noticed that putting the small production points near the silo and then filling the silo will automatically fill the production! I do wish the animal products did the same though!

When you attach a tool/trailer oom out untill you can see the back of the tool/trailer.

Ohhh GWS you seem so confused and it is to a newbie 🙂. Order of things. 1. Plow the field. You can use the plow OR a Subsoiler. A subsoiler goes deeper to turn the soil. They work something like a cultivator but don't leave those awkward jagged edges to a field like a plow does. I always use a subsoiler to plow my fields.You can plow a field everytime you plant a crop OR use PERIODIC PLOWING, where you plow after every 3rd harvest. plows and subsoilers turn the earth over roughly. A cultivator breaks the earth clods down, after a bit of weathering IRL, and makes the finer 'seedbed' in which the seeds germinate. 2. Cultivate the field. obviously using a cultivator. I think you're okay with this. 3. Fertilise the field. There are 4 types. Solid (pellets) or Manure (from animals) fertilisation. Liquid or Slurry (also from animals) fertilisation. There is a 5th type of fertilisation. This is what you see as Oil Seed Radish. This is known as a cover crop. Let it grow then when it' s ready plow or cultivate it into the ground. This provides one level of fertilisation. 4. Seed your field using a Seeder or a Planter Typically a seeder does cereal crops whereas a Planter does Root crops mainly potatoes and sugarbeet. Check when buying in the shop what they actually plant. Some Seeders/Planters can provide a dual role. Some can Cultivate and Seed, known as Direct Drilling and others can Fertilise and Seed. Again check the description in the Shop of what it can do. Apply this to everything in the shop. Most vehicles/trailers can be converted for multiple tasks. REMEMBER: CHECK YOUR CALENDAR! For when you can plant certain crops. 5. Roll your field. Rolling adds a small percentage to the yield. It can also push first stage stones back into the ground. 2nd and 3rd stage stones you will need a Stone Picker. 6. Fertilise the field again! the day after you've seeded or rolled it. After 'walk' your field to check yield and condition. 7. Sit back and wait for the crop to grow. Then Harvest. 8. Mulching. Up to you if you want to do this. like rolling, it adds a couple of percentage points to the yield for next time. Mulching takes care of the crop stubble thats left after harvesting. Back in the day it used tobe burned off but is now illegal, at least in the UK. INCIDENTALS. Weeders will remove 1st stage weeds. Hoes, I think remove 1st and 2nd stage weeds. 3rd stage weeds can only be removed by Herbicide Sprayers with a small decrease in yield. Hope this helps. Highlight this and copy it then put in a 'Word' document for future use. HAPPY FARMING!!

I've liked the videos on this channel and hope you keep up with this series. You may notice the map is a bit buggy right now so it doesn't always show what it should even if the correct option is enabled, such as growth state. Try turning one of the overlays on and off to get it refresh and show the correct colors on the map. You can usually leave all of the overlays activated and the most important one will show. The reason your seeder was turning off is because of an option in the Settings menu under the vehicle Control section called Automatic Engine Start. This option turns on the vehicle engine when you get in, but it also turns off the engine when you get out of the vehicle. So every time you exit the engine turns off and any attached tools turn off. If you did not use the option your tractor would stay on when you exited, but it would also mean having to remember to press the ENTER key to turn the vehicle on and off. Also, if you have an implement that folds for storage or road transportation, folding automatically turns it off. Plowing goes deeper in the soil, turning it over to bury anything on the surface (stubble, weeds, etc.). Cultivating is more shallow, breaking apart the ground surface to allow for easier planting. For game purposes Stubble Tillage, Cultivated, and Seedbed are all Cultivated ground. Some Seeders and Planters require the ground to be Cultivated to work. When you look in the Store (default shortcut key P), if the description text for a seeder or planter saying "(no previous cultivating or plowing is necessary)" then you do not need to Cultivate first. You turned off the option for Periodic Plowing Required so the Plowed map overlay can be ignored. Remove Foliage is for plants like potatoes and sugar beets. When ready to harvest, the above ground plants have to be removed before they can be harvested from under the ground. For some of the harvesters this is an additional step requiring separate equipment, and there are also all-in-one machines that do it all in one step. Rollers are what they sound like, a big, heavy, round rolling thing that flattens the ground pushing things like rocks into the soil where they cannot damage equipment. In game the roller gives a slight increase to crop growth and pushes rocks (fieldstone in settings, which you turned off) into the soil.

to see plowed or cultivated you have to turn off the growing stage as it will show up over the other states

when you open the big map if you hit the button to scroll over there is a map variation that shows if the field needs to be plowed, limed, rolled or fertilized. it makes things really easy for a quick reference.

If I may GWS. There are two English FS players I think you should checkYou may have trouble with his accent at first as he's from the Liverpool areaout.The first is quite simply named 'Scroft'. The other channel is 'Farm Sim Guy'. They have churned out an amazing amount of excellent content. Scroft for instance Is doing the LONGEST Roleplaying game in the worl. Using Farming Simulator. It's up to almost 300 epsodes over two versions. It's called "The Farm Hand".

Zoom out so you can see the whole spread width. You will also see the field change colour and show you the coverage. If you have little bits uncovered use the green dotted line in the top left menu to alter the width of spread and save fertiliser wastage. Caution: notall spreaders/sprayers have that feature. Don't forget, Manure and Slurry spreaders work the same way. Yes there are 4 kinds of fertliser. After you've done anything to the field, ALWAYS check the large Map to see the filters that apply to see coverage.

Field work, up and down first then headlands from inside to outside. Harvest headlands first then up and down. Keep a eye on your damage bar, the more the damage the higher the repair will cost. Your cultivator took a lot of damage because you were not raising it while turning around on the field. Your doing great so far but your health comes first. Oh and tap that H button to lock in the gps and the tractor will guide it's self onto the marker.

You can zoom the camera back further then you'll see it from further away enabling a better view of what's being fertilised .

When you are doing field work and when you are on the white lines on the field they turn gold if you press H then it will turn green and all you need to do is control the speed of the vehicle because it will steer itself hope it helps

You should use a PS or Xbox controller! It makes driving so much easier. If you find steering is too slow on controller you can change steering sensitivity in the in-game settings under General. Having fun watching the farming series so far and looking forward to see how you grow!

The boxes around the field are headlands , check your steering settings are at 200% as after the update it changed the setting to 100, looks like you're not steering too well, 200% will make a difference 👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

You're definitely picking the game up , you're doing your headlands first which is correct , but do them clockwise so when your harvester gets full you won't need to adjust to get your pipe out to a trailer 👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Attach the header at the side with the rectangular hole , you'll see if you look on the front of your harvester where it slots on. 👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿you're learning though, hope you're enjoying the game. Any questions just ask away , people will always be happy to help.

Hi geek sim woman , you need to fertilise your fields, plough then use solid fertiliser , then plant and use liquid fertiliser after planting, that way you'll get a better yield and more money for your crop 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The thing with farming simulator is that you can take it as fast or as slow as you want, if you're not sure what certain things are or how to do something there are some very good videos out there or just ask as the farming simulator community is very friendly and helpful. Remember there is no stupid questions just the one you don't ask

If you line up with the white lines and tap "H" it will activate steering assist. You can see if it is active as the line will turn green and at the bottom right of your screen you will see "Active". It will say "ready" if you don't tap the "H" key after turning.
