The differential brace is very nice because the stock bushings tend to tear themselves apart while drifting so this brace distributes the load evenly. pretty essential for dedicated drift cars but not needed.

Unfortunately, yes. This is strictly a drift car but the 2 times i've driven it on the street are horrible between that and the lightweight flywheel you can't hear yourself think. It's the diff bushings not being able to absorb harmonics from the transmission output shaft & driveshaft. I first thought my trans was going to explode until i realized this is just how its going to be lol.

No that spot is on every 91-98 DE, it’s just a section that provides extra strength for support and is the “data plate” for KA’s, just has the details stamped on the face right there. The KA24E has the data plate in the middle between cyl 2&3 on the same side.

@@daskamu so i just did this last weekend, if you slit the flange you can then bend it up and it will break off, this will give you enough purchase area on the subframe to just push the bushing out whole with a shop press.. eliminating all of the burning and such. the only subframe bushing you will need to actually cut on alot is the rear dif, just be careful so you don't cut into the aluminum and ruin your subframe like this guy did. Also, and another reason to follow my advice, heating up and cooling aluminum will make it brittle, avoid this.

I reused them, since they are torque to yield it is definitely advised to get new bolts but you are perfectly fine reusing the hardware

Running all ACL bearings

Stock engine/turbo setup 93octane at around 11-12psi. Ran very hard for over 2 years. Also yes at an event it leaned out and detonation killed it.

@@DillonGuttridge I’ve been watching a lot of “advise” videos and everything in your video is towards the right direction. Sometimes editing is the biggest drag. But to me it seems like the whole video was thought and planned out. Either way you did good 👍🏼
