Completely agree! Minis over full-sizes always! Unfortunately not all brands create minis or offer them standalone; usually it is only offered as a GWP (Gift with Purchase) 🤷🏾‍♀️ I wish all lipsticks had a mini variant - that would be amazing

Thank you! I used the Merit complexion stick all over to even the skin tone instead of a tinted moisturiser. I do love the Nars tinted moisturiser though. You know I have never been sure about a clear brow gel; always felt it didn’t do much for me. Do you think it makes a big difference to the brows; would you suggest I try it?

I haven’t tried their setting powder 😅 but I really like Huda Beauty eyeshadows and bullet lipsticks! The liquid lipsticks have great colour pay-off too but are not as long-lasting.

Hey - I am using these because these haven’t expired yet :) Signs of expiration that I look for in lipsticks: 1. Change in texture 2. Change in smell; or if the bullet lipsticks start having a play-dough or clay type smell 3. Change in performance I go through my lip collection every 4 months; to check what’s still performing well versus not. As a general rule of thumb, the high-end or luxury lipsticks tend to last a lotttt longer unless I happen to get old stock on a clearance sale (I am a deal seeker; so usually keep an eye out for discounts). Of course there are exceptions to this rule; but this is what I have seen in my experience.

@@mashantha Got it. So you don't necessarily follow printed expiry dates of lipsticks. Usually it is not more than 3 years, even for luxury collections

Yes I don’t mind transfer either! 🤭 But I like to share my entire experience with a lipstick - which includes whether it is transfer proof or not :) I do know of people who prefer only non-transfer lipsticks so wanted to share that as well 😅

Hi Anagha! Thanks so much for watching :) So based on the ones I have tried (I have only tried 1-2 from the brands you mention); my suggested pecking order (from best to mid) would be as follows Jo Malone/Kayali, Diptyque, Le Labo and Replica. I have unfortunately not tried Baccarat and Parfum de Marly - I want to; have heard such great things about these two but I do have too many at the moment to justify such expensive additions to my collection 🙂‍↕️ I would highly recommend trying the minis before investing in one though. With the sephora beauty insider program, they usually include samples with orders and the perfume samples last 1-2 uses! Most of these start at 30 ml, so you can experiment with that too instead of splurging in one shot. That’s how I built up my collection as well :)

Realised I answered this in my previous comment 🤭 but honestly differs from brand to brand. For eg Kayali has 10 ml sizes, most perfume brands start at 30 ml or at least a 50 ml. Sephora in some countries also has a perfume sampler kit which usually comes with a redeemable coupon that you can use to buy a full size of any of the perfumes featured in the kit. (I have seen this in the US; Idk if this is available in France though) If you live in Paris, I highly recommend the Sephora at Champs Élysées- it felt like wonderland when I visited it in 2018. Great store with almost all the SKUs; but can get super crowded though

I mean the brands have SKUs starting at 30 ml 😅 the samples that you get as GWPs (Gift with purchases) are usually 2-3 ml if I remember correctly
