My name's Alex, and I've been a motorsport fan for as long as I can remember.
I now work full-time in the motorsport industry as a commentator, presenter, content creator and PR specialist, and have been in the space for over a decade.
Here on my channel, I interview varied guests in my podcast "Commentator's Corner," which is now in it's third year and over 60 episodes, along with giving the BTS on my travels away from home.

One On One: Balota vs Kalteren at Ostricourt
Karting always pits driver against driver and it's always exciting to see it first hand trackside.
Join myself and Guillaume Alvarez once again for another #IntheBooth episode, as it's Dream Racing's Sam Balota vs RSD Karting's Henkie Kalteren up against each other in the heavy summer May heat at Racing Kart JPR in Ostricourt, France.
It's a classic as they speed off into the distance and go head to head out on track in the X30 Senior Final.
Unfortunately, my iPhone did get quite hot that day, so we didn't get the full comms box POV.

But thanks to the efforts of @GridFindergg and Rafa Racing Club, it's back! It is a go-to source for anything regarding anything sim racing and community-related, including myself being an avid fan of their work. So it felt right to have a special episode ...

i miss those early days of Ellis racing Karts.! Waving from USA hope all is well.
HA - SHOW THAT RACE! lol! waving from Arizona - Kids moved back to the USA!
A great guy, he took time out to relax with people & shared his knowledge.. his community was THE hive of infomation for simracing, full of great people & they will still be there whenever he fancies racing again.. good luck to him & his future
Amazing podcast! So interesting to see two of the greatest voices motorsports has to offer, talking about the past!
I’ve been following @simracinghq for a while now, more Spotify and it’s clear he’s a good person who really wants to help others. But he’s struggling a bit with his content, to much mistakes and not schedule, he could definitely use some improvement or help form other simracers if was a normal community :D :D . He has a solid message, but sometimes he just needs to learn to listen more during interviews instead of talking . With some adjustments, he could really make an impact!
Thanks a lot for the feedback, totally agree, Podcast and ADHD aren't the best partners but I promise get back to more content.
I met Hugo at Silverstone and saw him at brands this year, and I can’t believe how underrated he is in the sim racing community. I spent over 30 minutes chatting with him and got to see firsthand why he’s so passionate about what he does and about his podcast . He puts every penny from his TH-cam and spotify profits into helping the next generation of drivers. last weekend at silverstone, he was supporting 1 driver with suit and helmet without asking for anything in return, his father was all the time try to introduce hugo to the family and all them give him hugs and say thanks for helping his son. At brands He even had two cars sporting his logo. What he’s doing for these kids is amazing, and it’s frustrating that sim racing as a whole isn’t doing more to back him up. In his episode with Asetek, The Ceo kept mentioning other creator who contribute, but Hugo is in a league of his own-he’s putting his own cash on the line. When he brought up the CEO of Asetek, it was clear they didn’t fully recognise how impactful his work really is, and ignore it. It’s maddening that brands focus on views and likes instead of real intentions. I really hope Hugo gets the recognition he deserves, he’s doing incredible work! shame for simracing for this behaviour
Fantastic - thank you for your time Alex!
Go on John!
Great to listen, and Alex love the new revamp on visuals !
Thanks mate! Need to get you on the show when we both can do our respective interviews too!
I would love to listen from Carlos Costa, if Dudu isn't suffer from to much press to equal or be on level from his father ? because I feel that Fefo Dont have that press on and is getting more lose and super fast.
I keep trying to push this podcast more out! The guest , the scrip is always a fantastic one and Alex deserve more to keep bring this week in week out!!
Nah . EVs can't cut it . They're dead ghosts that can't get pussy . It's that simple . No noise -no tail and that's why we buy sports cars
Alex once again deliver a good one!!!
Brilliant - well done Alex and DJ.
Cheers Michael! Glad to hear you're enjoying these chats!
Super one!!!
Thanks mate!
Nice episode. Cas is a very nice guy and fast in the karts. We have the privilege of racing with him regularly
🐐
Nice one, Max!
brilliant stuff, you would think i'd be sick of listening to LD at this point, but apparently not lol great interview Alex
PN member checking in. Great interview!
Great episode again Alex! Learning a lot from you! Laurence have so much to give us. One hour isn’t enough
😆 'Promo sm'
MARCOOOO!!
Love Robs work, looking forward to seeing what he has to say for himself, which is usually quite a lot!
Great to co-commentate with you last night!
You too Cammie!
Our pleasure, Alex!
Cheers Thomas - hopefully catch up in person in the very near future
@@AlexGoldschmidt absolutely!
Great video, Alex!
Thanks Tommie! Well done last night!
i miss ellis racing in this segment of Rotax.
I do agree with race information preparing for sure with any professional casting, I do feel there wasn't enough mentioned about the entertainment level, the vocal preps to be ready for commentating etc. And for a example or how to cast without knowing anything, pros like this can deliver - th-cam.com/video/DU1b5OzF07I/w-d-xo.html
I was hoping to touch on entertaining the audience in this episode, but it always seems that time tends to run out when I least expect it
@@AlexGoldschmidt man we entertain and tell story's that's what is all about
Brilliant! James is always hungry for a snack of great commentating. Don't dare leave the door open when he is casting, else you'll burgled!
I would like Alex vs Jake please.
That’s a good plan right there!
interesting interview- and you in your car! good morning!
Nice interview
GOOD VIDEO - hello from Arizona!
❤️🏎❤️
great interview but i am partial to my only and favorite grandson! Hope you are well Alex!
:)
THATS MY GRANDSON! WHAT A GREAT YOUNG MAN! WAS HONORED TO WATCH ON YOU TUBE ALL HIS RACES.
You Have This Special Charisma That Makes Your Commentary Sound Good Amazing
Absolutely Amazing Met Mr Simon During The Young Drivers Development Programme In Saudi He's A Really Good Coach All The Best To Him
👍
The insinuation in the book that Senna did not know what left foot braking was and thought that LFB was the cause of him believing the 1994 Benetton was running TC is absurd. We have been left foot braking since the 80’s (apart from people who broke their legs). Here is Senna’s own teammate G. berger left foot braking in 1992. To insinuate that Senna would not know what left foot braking was or not to be able to distinguish the sound is not very realistic. th-cam.com/video/3GKwlKvmWB4/w-d-xo.html (2:30s, 3:30s, 4:50s, etc.) This is Jonathan Williams confirming that Schumacher was using traction and launch control in 1994: th-cam.com/video/c6902_YS4RE/w-d-xo.html (59:04s)
Thanks Alex good show and summary!
cheers Mikko. Really felt for you yesterday in the final.
nice book.congrats. greetings from Slovakia. But i miss some informations/theory/speculation in the book. For example - many f1 fans know about Benetton fuel rig scandal. But do you know that Williams had "cheat" refuelling trick too? In Brazil FIA discovered in Williams special pressure relief valve and it enabled refuelling double at a speed!!! Benetton with only 12,5per cent faster refuelling were losers :-D
Congratulations Ibrar! All of F1 / GP Rejects are very happy and proud of you!
Congratulations Ibrar, great work!
Top Alex 💪🏻👍🏻
