Beautiful work. Were you worried about moisture issues due to weather while building with the CLT? Also, what is a rough estimate of cost per panel? CLT is a great innovative product that is quickly gaining market acceptance in the US.

those thin panels hardly qualify as CLT and placing a non ' breathable ' type insulation /air barrier over could cause moisture problems .
Thanks for the comment Sirios. CLT stands for Cross Laminated Timber, which these definitely are. While different than their thicker counterparts used in large residential and commercial projects, these smaller panels will meet up to 100lb snow loads in the spans we currently have designed. As for insulation, rigid insulation doesn't require any air gap. No different than spray foam insulation. They both create a thermal break, and with 2 1/4 inch thick wood walls, and no voids in the wall, this meets residential code and performs very well. Thanks for watching!
