Great trimmers have mine for 6 years still runs like new
Need to go back to school and learn how to read the instructions that came with the unit. Probably won't mix the gas and oil either.

I got no complaint with Echo SRM 225 trimmers I'm on my 2nd the 1st one went for 5 yrs & I completley ran it into the ground. The carburetor finally tore up what can I say if that 1 lasted 5 yrs they are good trimmers. My 2nd 1 is no problem at all it's great & it does not have performance problems especially when it the engine gets hot. Like other trimmers I've owned over the years !
As for the easy load head the person in that video I'm wondering about maybe he doesn't have much experience when it comes to trimmers
That model is 21 cc . Try the Speed feed bro. Also gun it to trim the length off.
That's what I thought 21 cc. I have one being delivered by 5/30/23 with the bicycle style handles to ease twisting my back.

Is the echo srm225 trimmer lightweight
Absolutely
It weighs 1lb more than a Homelite according to the specs. The Echo is a 21.2cc vs the Homelite is 26cc. In my experience it's noticeable and I am not very delighted with the lack of power of the Echo. It is a heavier built tool though. The Homelite is a bit toyish. I'm thinking of getting the larger Echo, but they cost a LOT more.

Your putting the line on the speed feed head the wrong way they’re is a way easier way
I was another video on this and the guy wound it up counter clockwise and it worked a lot easier than taking an old fashioned off and a or fashion check out
You’re filling your speed feed head the wrong way you don’t have to take it apart . Just line the arrows up ,cut your string feed it through the hole and wind it up you’re doing it completely wrong. It’s like taking your gas tank out of your car to put gas in it.

Bro just twist the head til you can see through both holes grab about 15 ft of line run in through the head still together and even both pieces and turn the head. Speed feed head man.
