no, this lock only has auto close mode.

you mean the striker pin? If the locking striker pin came off, then I assume the C clip broke on it. Thats what holds the locking pin onto the striker. Probably need to order a new striker. I assume you have striker A -- Part # is "KR-S80 Strike A"

im thinking you may have ordered someone else's lock that looks similar to ours. We created our own proprietary software that we flash into the circuit. We do this in our Lancaster PA facility. Nobody else has our software installed into a similar looking lock. If you didn't buy it from us, it's not our lock.

you will have to get new cards and program to the lock. you will have to have access to atleast the #1 button on the back of the lock

It reset the lock back to factory settings. Nothing is programmed. You will have to set the mode you want, re program the manager card, then program the usercards.

@@lockconnection3731 I believe I got it to program a manager card. When I swipe the manage card it seems to program a user card but when I try to use the user card it blinks red/white. Any ideas? Thanks for your help!

@@lockconnection3731 For some reason my batteries all went from 1.5V to 0.65V pretty quickly. Expiration of 12/2030 so don't know if they are bad batteries or the unit is draining them quickly, but I got it to work for now.

@@MattCA88 They should last at least 6 to 7 months with a few times a day use. If you have the emergency open alarm on and it goes off several times, that does run batteries down pretty fast. Make to use name brand alkaline batteries or even Lithium max energizers that are disposable.

after resetting the lock, push the #1 button, it will start to flash, touch a card to the lock, it will beep 1 time, then pull it away. wait 5 seconds so the lock can reset. That card is now programmed as the manager card.

unless you have attached a power jack cable to the lock ,our Part# PJC-Mucb-20, (this lock is our Gen 1 model and doesn't have the micro USB port on the side of the lock, but all our RFID-2B locks now have them since 2020), you will have no other way to get power to the lock to operate it. You will have no choice but to pull hard on the cabinet door to break the lock.

If you push the #4 button, it will delete all the user cards. It changes the lock mode from single key card mode, to two keycard mode. In 2 keycard mode, you need to use 2 cards in order to open the lock.

You can send a request to jwalker@lockconnection.net and he can can send you the info on 6 locks linked together. this same one is not available for $10.00 anywhere. You are probably looking at a different model.

The buttons do different things. The port is to add either a power jack or an AC power supply. This video shows more info on the buttons. The KR-S80L-LC locks need a little different instructions to get the cards all keyed the same, but it gives you a good idea of how it works. its connected via a cable so they are wired together. The circuit inside of these locks are made only for the KR-S80L-LC locks. This allow the signal to go to both locks regardless of which one is scanned.
