Weekend trip to Zongo Falls near Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of the Congo
Interesting to see what Leopoldville looked like. My parents and i lived there from 1958 to 1960...

The film shows what was before the fight for independence . The destruction was devastating .
Wie kam die Segregation in den Kongo. Das war ja praktisch wie Südafrika. Im Unterschied zu den Franz., port. aber auch brit. Kolonien. Belgisch Congo entwickelte sich nach ww1vund vor allem nach ww2 zu einem Apartheid Siedlerstaat. In Mocambik oder Angola gab es auch viele Sieger aus Portugal. Aber es konnte jeder jeden heiraten und es gab auch tatsächlich eine Menge von angola/Portugiesen. In Congo Brazzaville war die Situation.auch anders als im Congo der Belgier. Afrikaner durften nichtmal Kinos besuchen.

Sorry, depuis que les blancs sont partis, c'est devenu une gigantesque poubelle à ciel ouvert et tous les bâtiments non entretenus sont en ruines ou squattés ! Prostitution, corruption généralisée, école de 3ème zone, routes défoncées ... etc. Ils ont voulu l'indépendance le 30/06/60, voilà ce qu'ils ont fait de ce si beau pays !!!

We unhesitantingly owe the big fault to Mobutu Sese Seko who had led a 32 year presidential vagrancy. He didn't pay a thoughtful heed to how improve the country politically, economically as well as socially.

I have been there. You don't know anything about me. Congo is poor, violent, unsafe, underdeveloped, and basic instruments needed for human survival are missing in a lot of places, like fresh water supply, enough food, clean housing. And I fucking suck a lot of toes because I have a foot fetish. Now you know. Your turn.
