I know you said it is topsoil but I see gravel so that means alluvial gold especially in the waterfall and the inside corners of the S-Bend. Must be nice to have a natural sluice. Otherwise it is amazing what you have done.

Thanks for the example, and it sounds like you may have run into some extremist “no-till” people haha. Your method here is gaining popularity in the no-till community as the “one-till” version of no-till - till once to get air, water, and organic matter into lifeless soil and then start a “no-till” garden on top of that with the goal to minimize soil disturbance, keep it covered and planted etc
