I used to think the hip-hop / trap beats were samples, once I learned he plays them himself, I appreciate them even more and his talents as a drummer. II is fantastic.

He played thru Gods and The Apparition 2 songs they haven’t played live. I dont know if this is the correct terminology but he's so controlled in his movements but does so much, controlled chaos. He is a drum god!!

Vessel is the soul of ST. But II, he's the heartbeat of ST. I'm not a drummer but I was able to follow what he was talking about. He's a phenom and I'm glad other people are getting that. 🖤

Get you some bandmates that know there's no such thing as too many splashes and stacks. The musicality you can get out of them and the accents you can create both enhance the song you're playing when used correctly and challenge you as a drummer to figure out where each belongs within your playing. If they're adamant about the number of splashes and stacks, just get a wood block, cowbell, shaker, rain tube, and a set of wind chimes. That'll change their tune. 😂
