Saw the play at music hall at fair park in Dallas, the actress for Lydia held the yell for a good 10 seconds...
"It’s showtime!" in the animated series: Oh thank god. "It’s showtime!" here and in the movie: Oh God No!
First time I saw this on Broadway, I got total chills when he said It's showtime. Also the lighting and set were so freaking cool. The puppetry for the giant head, hands, and the snake were so awesome to see in person. I was so sad when it closed because it was brilliant in person.
