I'm glad this game handles saved data the way it does, because seeing the self-scare and Little Scout-in-stinger Easter Eggs on the same first playthrough is probably rare. This is also how I learned that the Scout in the ending may have a raandom trajectory like the probe in the main game, cuz' in another playthrough, it flew right past the screen! Might be a DLC modifier, I dunno'. Also dunno' why I put off watching this for so long, this edit was very well-made.

I really love how this is edited. There’s a level of care that I can tell was put into this (all of your Remake edits honestly) that show an appreciation for the source material, just as much as an appreciation for Vinny. Really really nicely done.

Man it’s painful watching him fail to get past the anglerfish over and over after bringing in the expert. Do not accelerate, ever, at all, under any circumstances, period. Just stay still, coming out of the entrance gives you a bit of straight-ahead velocity, let it carry you well past them before you nudge the controls. It’s unforgiving only if you’re impatient and speed up, which the expert is telling him is the right way for some reason

Wonder if Vin ever realized that the "squigly lines over the screens" 'death" means that he didn't die physically but his memories got yoinked back into Ash Twin project. SPOILS BELLOW: THIS is connected to few endings- if you take the Warp Core and not take it to the Vessel you can strand yourself in few places. You can choose to strand yourself on your ship (yyes, you can escape past the blast zone of the supernova), you can BECOME QUANTUM along side Solanum if you land on the EYE location of Quantum Moon (at least you have a friend) and with EoE you can strand yourself on the Stranger (I hope Vin found the room with a diagram showing that the wholeass HALO RING is moving away from the sun as it expands or you can strand yourself in the Owlk's simulation ("Eventually they stop bothering with your presence" or smthing similar the quote goes in that ending). As for the broken records all across the physical Stranger- Owlks did it not from some "dark revisionism" but from either shame or distrust towards whoever will eventually find their ruins. In contrast to Nomai, the Owlks strike as a very secretive people, ones where you need to be recognized as a part of the family or a very trusted accomplice to be given open access to deeper details, where Nomai make knowledge more publicly accessible to everyone (even if it reflects badly on them, look at the Sun Station project) 1:51:50 and this one is basically "Can I concider you a friend?" moment, a non verbal version that is.
