Pete Shaw explores some more simple yet effective voice edit ideas. This time he uses the Cut Off control to adjust the tone of a sound. Filmed on Korg Pa4x but applies to other Pa models

Pete Shaw uses a Korg Pa1000 to show the benefit of being able to switch voices from Polyphonic to Monophonic. This is especially important when making mixes of certain voices to retain the realism and musicality of the mix.

Pete Shaw takes a look at how to set the Ensemble feature to create right hand chord effects on the Korg Pa1000. The video also applies to the Pa4x. Pete highlights the difference between 'normal' mode and 'mute' mode where the sound only plays the harmony and does not duplicate the lead melody note.

Following on from all of the videos that have encourage you to edit sounds with effects or layer sounds, this video shows you how to save these sounds in the Library for instant recall at anytime in the future. When you have spent time creating a sound it is always best to save it in the Keyboard Set Library then it becomes like any other sound in that you can use it at any point in the future ...

Paul gives an example of putting 2 separate effects on a sound. From selecting Master effects to some basic adjustments of those effects. We also look at how to adjust the amount of each effect on a sound. At the end of the video is a re cap of how to save the created sound for future recall.

Paul offers a different way to use Set Lists on Korg Pa keyboards. With many owners having been bought up on Organs they are use to individual registration presets and Paul offers a method that allows a page of 12 locations on a Set List to be used in a similar way and introduces the concept of using different styles within a tune to provide more variation

Paul follows on from the earlier video on how to create and store Keyboard Set Libraries. This time he shows you how to rename the User categories and answers a subscribers question about a certain method of storing that allows instant recall via button you favourite or most used Keyboard sets

Paul gives a quick guide as how to best use the Apache style which we offered free via our website www.thekorggurus.co.uk On screen are guides as to which part of the original arrangement fit with the style variations.

Paul shows a simple way to re map the drums for each style variation and adjust the sound of the Kick and Snare drums. He also looks at setting the fills to switch variations within the style. All found within the Style Controls Menu

Paul follows on from the previous video to show you how to select and use any Keyboard Set Library Entry into a set up or Songbook entry.

Paul shows how to have different split point settings in Keyboard Sets. Also a way to use My Setting as a 5th Keyboard Set. In this illustration Paul has 3 keyboard Sets which feature his global split setting and one which has no split at all. This can be achieved without turning off the main Split button on the panel. This also applies to Pa1000
