This account is very old and very well used. Old comment will be cringe.

Sorry the sound's not fantastic (this is as it was on the DVD)
The scotch/Scouse mix wasn't great, whoever that actor is.
King Henry the Eight and his six wives Anne of cleves
English accent is so disgusting
Thank you for sharing this ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Brill first time listentening to a audio drama.. Any more like this ❤
Empowerment...
Brilliant story, great actors More please. Thank you
love these types if dramas
Superb! More like this please 🙏🏻
Thank you for uploading this Ann Cleeves - also love her Vera
Parade's End brought me here ... and his brilliant performance as Colonel Bill Williams. He steals every scene he's in! I rewound the DVD about five times to savor the scene in which he relinquishes his command. I had no idea who he was before I saw him in Parade's End. Wow! Fantastic! Bravo!
He qas always degxjciiejd yes
Is the actor doing Perez the younger, wet behind the ears cop in the television series? Why doesn’t the U.S.have radio dramas like this? So good! Thank you- California
Yes! It's Sandy/ Steven Robertson. The actor is actually from Shetland which is a pretty nice touch. It's a shame they didn't do more Ann Cleeves radio plays
Such a good but sad story, thank-you very much xx
I"m a Kiwi living in Hawai'i and I love the Scottish brogue, probably because I can understand it!. My Scottish neighbour in NZ, Grandma Mangin, would often introduce me as her grandson while giggling (I am Maori) and whisper to me "Dinna fache!" and stare down the disbelievers! As a child I also loved the bagpipes, and still do. I think I'm turning Scot!❤
Hi
Thank you, much appreciated, liked and subbed
As a book,I'd never have read this but as a radio play I found it Most Enjoyable! Thank you.😊
You know the
Very enjoyable. Thanks
I really wish we could see this in film!
You can buy the videos of the Shetland series, all five of them.
TY Lilith
So handsome 😍
The song scene sans music and vampires pre eye FX just make the scenes even better haha
Hard to understand Scottish accents - poor diction.
Thank you for sharing, very good drama
Thank you so much for the upload, Lilith! 🤗🌺
There was a lot of pathos in the last series of Shetland when his character had been suspended. We don't see enough of him.
What a cutie. Love his smile!
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Steven Robertson as Jimmy Perez. I'm so used to watching him as Sandy Wilson that it took a few minutes to switch from Sandy to Jimmy.
Love his laugh
I'm a scouser from Liverpool and the Detective Inspector has a hint of scouse in the accent he's portraying, does anybody hear it? Great play really enjoyed it!!!
Just subscribed love this is great to listen to in bed thank you 😊👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I just saw this man spray people in the face with acid, stab a man in a train station, attack a crowd with hammers and many more, and this is the guy?! Woah I can’t get over this
Thank you so much................
Thanks 👌
Love it
Subscribed. Thanks for this I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to more. X
I thought it sounded like Stephen Robertson playing Perez, it must have felt funny for him playing Sandy Wilson in the TV series as a sort of second in command, you cannot mistake his voice, well well. I also enjoyed this but although I read the book, I do not recall them putting it on TV for some reason
When was this on R4?
Fiona Johnston it was in 2011
Thank you very much, I wonder if they will repeat it.
Enjoyed this story very much .. Thanks for sharing.
Pretty good. You really need to pay attention to all the character names as it gets alil hard to follow. I did have part of it figured out fairly early on but the final conclusion is a bit over the top.
In radio plays they cast people with different accents else it gets confusing, but the islands do have an english twang often.
Thanku very much .👍❤️😀❤️
WONDERFUL!!!Thanks :)
