    Hi, thank you for the nice video! I'm also about to fly the same itinerary with Air China, only difference is that I opted for the later flight from PEK to BKK, so most likely I will have a little bit more time to explore Beijing, which I'm also planning to do! My question would be is that when you checked-in your baggage at Vienna, could you check it in until Bangkok? I mean when you arrived to Beijing, you didn't have to take your large baggage with yourself, right? Other thing is, is it possible to use digital boarding pass (e.g. Apple wallet), or you received printed one? Thank you!

    • @TheTravelingSlovakian
      @TheTravelingSlovakian หลายเดือนก่อน

      So I don't know how is it from Vienna to Bangkok, but you should just be able to check it all the way to BKK, because on my way to Bangkok I had just my carry on, though on my way back from Singapore via Beijing to Vienna I had to check my bag, and I just said I want to pick it up in Vienna. Online boarding pass didn't work for me, but when you are to check your bag anyway, the staff wil also print tou the boarding pass

I subscribed to your channel, watched these next 2 videos and now I can't wait for another. Interesting fact you may not know is that the Japanese dropped more bombs on the city of Darwin in world war 2 than they did on Pearl Harbour. If you are still here and go to the Northern Territory check out the world war 2 tunnels near Darwin harbour.

    Thank you for your video. It brought back some nice memories of decades ago when I lived in Townsville as a child during the mid 1960's. My family had moved from a southern state and living in Townsville was a culture shock. We lived in a traditional "Queenslander" style house on stilts and our toilet was downstairs in the corner of the backyard where HUGE cane toads often visited. The windows on our house had no flyscreens to keep insects out, so we slept under canopies of mosquito netting over our beds and burned mosquito coils every night. We never wore shoes to school, but it was mandatory to wear straw hats. We didn't own Winter clothes or need blankets on our beds because it was never cold enough there. We swam nearly every day in the jellyfish protected enclosures and we often visited Magnetic Island, which was a great place to explore!

    G'day to you from a genuine Aussie. I'm glad you are enjoying your time in Australia. Most of us a pretty laid back and will help you out if you ask. I apologise in advance for Cairns. It's expensive and boring. Years Ago QANTAS forced the International Airport to move to Cairns away from Townsville, which is a shame as Carins has no real beach, has poorer weather, and few items of interest, whereas Townsville has much better weather and more to see and do. Now because of QANTAS, the city is more expensive to live in due to tourist activity. But since you are going...take the train ride up to Kuranda. It's not a bad spot to go to and is a nice little township.

    Welcome to Sydney. I've lived in Sydney for all my life, now in my late 70's. A few tips. As soon as you can, move from the accommodation where you are into a flat, probably sharing with someone. You'll find it considerably cheaper. The harbourside areas are great for a short time, but rents are a lot more.Even now, do your shopping at one of the major chains - Coles, Woolworths or Aldi. Prices there will be lower than the convenience stores you're buying at now. When you've made a base, find a nearby doctor and start a relationship with that practice. Above all, have a good time.

    The Blue Mountains is a very good tip. I definitely need to go when I will get the chance to go to Sydney
