Road trips are perfect for long projects!
A quick stash buster? Very nice!
Thank you, indeed it’s so fast and satisfying to clear the stash ✨
Such a lovely video, and so nice to hear such a glowing review of Linda’s book - it’s smashing isn’t it?! ❤
Thank you so much for your comment ✨ I truly adore Linda’s book I am so happy it’s the book for my style, as it’s already rare to find a modern book with vintage patterns even more rare a Tyrollean knitwear book ✨ it just gave me so much inspiration to create more vintage flowery knits for my everyday wordrobe 💐 happy crafting for you too
Beautifully done!
Thank you so much, Monique 😊
I adore your personal style!
Thank you, I have been experimenting a lot with it though the years, now I think it speaks to me the most ☺️
Loved the video!
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙏
Can you do a longer video explaining how 😅 also love your videos ❤
Sure I can, it’s in the plans ☺️ thank you for your suggestion
Cozy vibes all the way!
✨😊
Ohhhhh road trip time!
One of the road trips that was very productive 😊
Very nicely done. You have beautiful hair too!
Thank you so much 😊
The camisol is amazing. Thank you for finding it. Maybe as a corset cover later in the century. During the Regency it would have had a too high collarpart. Your gloves are beautiful! The apron would have been ornamental, for indoors. They wouldn't have worn it for real garden work, even picking the flowers for the dining table. They'd be impractical.
Thank you they are gorgeous patterns, I agree some are not very regency but can be adapted to make a more regency accurate garment ✨ it’s a lovely apron I guess can be used as a modern or history bounding one, it’s a lot of work (knitting vise) to use it as an actual apron for gardening I would probably just sew one instead😊 thank you for all your detailed comment very informative
@elziboba aaaaaaah sorry! Historian. Can't help it. Sorry! 🙈🙈🙈🙈
Your videos are all great. And your sweater is so beautiful and you are absolutely so talented, amazing and beautiful. Im so amazed that you look so much like one of my beautiful daughters. Your videos feels so like "home" to me. Where were you born or lived during your childhood? I have beautiful memories from my childhood too. I love beautiful stories and to remember my childhood. You really made me smile and feel good all this video. I am looking forward to all your videos in the future. God bless you always. Thank you for inspiring me. 😍🙏🤗💐
Ooo thank you sooo much ☺️, I really appreciate you like it all; your comment really makes me feel happy; I am from Bulgaria maybe we have similar ancestry; thank you again for a lovely comment ✨
Agreed! The undergarments are super important
wonderful patterns and inspiration!
Thank you so much, I would love to compile more patterns in the future ✨
Thank you for collecting the patterns!
Always my pleasure ✨
WHERE did you get the chair??? I love it! I may make one. Absolutely beautiful!❤
The chair came with the spinning wheel from the charity (thrift) store so I think they were made in Scotland; thank you so much it’s my favorite chair ✨
Oh my, you made me cry! The sweater is so beautiful and the fact that your project is connected to your memories is just magical. I love garments and patterns that are telling stories so much! But this made me think that I do not have many knits that are so deeply connected to memories. I still have to create them I guess.... You are so inspiring, this video was such a joy to watch! ♥Thank you! So many feels! Me too, I love and miss the snowy winters of my childhood so much.
You are making me cry, thank you so much, such a beautiful comment. I wasn’t expecting that my story would connect with others this way ☺️ I hope you will find a perfect project that you will make happy memories in ✨and hopefully we will create some special snowy memories this winter ❄️ thank you!
I miss the snow too! What a wonderful project
Thank you so much, this project just means so much to me now
I love all your projects!! So chic, so cottagcore!
Thank you so much 😊 I really love cottagecore I guess it’s all about living that aesthetic life 🙌
What lovely flowers!
Thank you they really made this vest shine and become my favorite thing in my wardrobe 🪄
That looks amazing!
Thank you 😊🙌
This turned out great, your fabric choice really hit the mark and I'd love to see you pair this gown with a chemisette of some fashion!
Thank you so much I got a lot of compliments on the fabric choice, the chemisette is a wonderful suggestion for this gown it will be my future project for sure ✨
11:55 that would be really cute if you single crochet around the neck and front and do little loops-buttonholes and put a bunch of tiny green-pearly buttons 😙👌(it already looks cute, just a suggestion) 💗💗💗 with love from Greece 💞
Thank you so much for the suggestion, I was so uninspired by this vest thing that I couldn’t find a way to make it look good, I will try you suggestion it sounds very exciting and love the green pearly buttons idea too 💚
@@elziboba Wow 🤩 can't wait to see how you'll do it then. ❤️❤️❤️
Watching you trying to force yourself to do something is how I feel trying to finish something. For some reason, when I put a timeline on myself, I will find 9375850 other things to do. 😂😂 I love the two tone on your sweater, it’s beautiful.
I am so glad I have tried this marathon, made me realize I do want to just procrastinate a lot haha, I am happy you had fun watching me force myself 😅 thank you I am more and more liking the two toned sweater look
I feel you. When I start learning how to crochet, I did some stuff just because the process of making it seem interesting, I ended up never using them and had to unravel a lot of stuff.🤦♀ When I got to knit, I started to think more about if it would fit my style and the weather where I live. PS: I feel like it is common that the girls who like to knit, sew (or similar handcraft/diy work) have green as a favorite or one of our favorite colors. I love that.
I am glad I am not the only one, thank you for sharing ❤️ I don’t know why but I always go for green over any other color, should change things up a bit
Everything looks so beautiful!! It was so lovely to follow along and see you be so emotional and excited for your niece! ❤
Thank you so much 😊 it is so wonderful reading your comment
Loved the video! The jacket is so cute and the embroidery gives it a special touch, I hope the baby wore it allot 😊❤ Recently I have learned icord in knitting not done after the piece is done ✅ and I love it
Thank you, totally agree, Icord is so fun actually no one told me ahahah I should do more of it
Girl what are you wearing ? A traditional clothing of some kind? You look great
Oh this is just my historical bounding look, the dress is inspired by 18th century peasant dresses and kind of reminds me of Princess Aurora or Belle 😊 thank you so much
Wow the journey to find the right colours for the sweater is so interesting, I have just seen the finished sweater and I can say: it was all worth it!
Yesss sometimes I am very detail oriented (well actually all the time ahahah) and when you what to make stuff for yourself why not spend ages looking for the yarn shade that will make you happy ✨ just our knitter stuff, thank you as always love to read your comments
Unraveling projects is so much fun for me too, and I also like the challenge to unravel store-bought sweaters that no longer fit me and then I wash the yarn and knit or crochet with it, most recently I crocheted a Chevron blanket of 2 kg with mostly reclaimed yarns
O wow that sounds like so much fun, I once found a great sweater in the second hand store, wanted to unravel it or something but at the end decided not to buy it; I think I might do something in the future, for now I need to reduce my stash yarn
So so cute, your niece is lucky to have such a talented aunt, especially if you do it first time
Thank you so much 🥹 yeah it was my first knit project that I have finished
I can't wait to see how you reclaim the yarn and spinning it
Thats one of my favorite topics to talk about, reusing every single scrap of yarn and fabric, I will think of something soon to show in the video
I love these kinds of experiments! And I think it was worth it because that sweater is so fine and it fits you wonderfully 🎉
Thank you so much 😊 it’s was lovely reading all your comments ❤️ my first marathon worked well I should improve on the next one
Ah that sweater is on my queue but I haven't been in the mood to work out the sailor collar. The green is so beautiful! Great job on it, it's so cute. I think I'm slowly working through fabel knitwears patterns, I have made so many 😂
I usually knit for a very long time, using continental knitting and usually fingering weight patterns, I only really get sore if I'm knitting worsted+ projects, and need to stretch lots. I think because the project weight gets too heavy (?)
The sailor collar was a bit scary to me at the beginning but then I just did it and it wasn’t that bad, thank you I hope you will also knit this wonderful sweater; I made one more pattern from Fabel Knitwear love her patterns so much there just soo nice for everyday wear as historical garments I guess I am going through her patterns slowly too
Chech out Emily Kate Made This you tube podcast. She loves vintage too and knits a lot of it.
Thank you Milena, I will definitely check her out, we should have more vintage knit podcasters
Beautiful girl ❤
Thank you Mom ❤️
Beautiful girl ❤
This is the first video of yours that I have ever seen. You are quite amusing, I enjoy your sense of humour, and the sweater is gorgeous!! Also, I thought I was the only one that would randomly put on my sleeves after I finish them to just enjoy the thrill of being done with them! 😅
Thank you so much 😊 it’s so lovely to read such a beautiful comment, i haven’t see a lot of people putting on sleeves just for fun , it’s so nice to just enjoy them on their own ✨ I say we should all do things just for fun and thrill of it
I thought the dye line was intentional! Looks nice, I think!
Thank you, yeah it worked out well in the end I am very pleased, everyday I am more happy about my decision to continue knitting it
The dress is beautiful. Thank you for making effort of filming this on the windy day too 😍
It was a pleasure to film this ❤ especially in this dress ✨ thank you
this is gorgeous. i’m honestly shivering looking at that tho lol!
It was cold and worth it ✨
that’s all that matters❤
I haven't seen anyone post something truly meaningful to their heart for ages - it's beautiful 💕
Thank you so much ❤ it truly means a lot to me as I haven’t see much of heart in a lot of content recently, decided that it’s time to make it myself
What a lovely wheel! What kind of wheel is it?
Thank you it’s my prized possession and is very well made, this is a vintage wheel so it was handmade by someone that enjoyed spinning, unfortunately I don’t know the maker as I bought this from the charity shop ✨
@@elziboba That's amazing! I really like the sound it makes!
What a lovely chatty double drive wheel, it could have great conversations with mine. I found when I made the cycling sweater that sport weight was in the end too thick to make it fit me; and I had to go for laceweight in the end (18 WPI instead of the recommended 12). Of course this was only evident after I finished the entire sweater...
This is what I am thinking too sport weight sounds too thick to work, I think the weight of yarn that I have is perfect to make the cycling sweater ✨ thank you for the tip; I think so too two spinning wheels would have a wonderful conversation with your one 😊 thanks for tuning in Mijn, I am a big fan of you and your videos. Actually you inspired me to start my own channel, I really love how you can connect with people trough the screen like talking to a friend
@@elziboba Just a quick heads up, I know my channel name is confusing for anyone who doesn't speak fluent Dutch. My name is Jente, not Mijn ;)
@MijnWolden just used the translator, I am sorry for the mix up and thanks for the heads up Jente 😊
So cool
Thank you 🙏
I thought it’s Filipino, “reusing waste yarn”
What brand of wheel is that?
This is a wheel I got from a charity shop and I think it was handmade and vintage so not one that is available now to buy, but looks similar to Scandinavian spinning wheels and a bit like Kromski spinning wheels that are still available for purchase ☺️
It's a lovely fairytale wheel 😊 You spin such nice looking yarn with it too.
Figuring out how to match gauge and grist of a previous spin isn’t easy… but it looks like you did it! 😊
Thank you so much 😊 it was a difficult journey to figure it out, a lot of things didn’t go as planned, but in the end all turned out great
Your videos are so lovely ☺️🤗
Thank you so much 😊 you are lovely too 🥰
but i rreally love tha thing that u made mango or manga
