Rallying cry now a much better than transmutation IMO (expensive still). I have been running SPC with rallying cry plus magma incarnate. If magma procs with a BG group in close proximity to one another that's ~900 spell power to group members but even without spc pus rallying cry is nice. If you really want crit resist that high rallying cry plus transmutation works, then nobody in an organized group needs to run impen anything even when one set falls off the other is usually up if they are in range of your heals, but it is kind of overkill to have 3K ish crit resists a lot of the time when both procs are up.

That is an overkill of Crit Resist, with the Crit Damage cap at 125% now there aren't a ton of high crit builds out there in CP PvP even less in Battlegrounds.

These sets, monster set and new 5 piece set, can be used in unity for 12 man content in Ascending tide dlc to extend, prolong major and minor debuff in group, while the 5 peice gives major vuln, making necros kinda pointless.

how it works: lord warden, and grave guardian give you and your group, in a non-cp scenario (bgs) a total of 7,610. which is HUGE! if you apply your restoration ultimate, which uses your combat prayer ability, giving your group minor beserk and minor resolve, capping your group at 10,584 resistances from you alone. plus giving your group 5% more damage. Thats just from 2 sets youre wearing. The point of the vbrp staff front bar is when you use the resto ult moprh we have chosen, you also cast healing ward, procing your major viality stacking with your minor vitality you have from gguard, causing youo to burst heal every1, especially who you have guarded. Turning Tide, a new set from Ascending Tide dlc, allows you to block attacks, giving your next bash an aoe attack inflicting major vuln to every1 around you, causing them to take 10% more damage, so stacked properly, youre group is doing 15% more damage, but being practically invincible. When you stack your major and minor vitality on your guarden ally, they take 24% more healing, and if you combi it by heavy attacking, giving you major mending, into a healing ult, you healing is increased by 40%, bursting your ally to 100% health guaranteed. How do i stay alive? yeah your mag recov is low, but youre not a healer, youre a tank, with an invible healer keeping you alive and giving you resources, youre constantly moving, and able to pop corrosives if need be. Your block cost is only 500, compared to the average 1.2k, a block god for sure. Group comp should be a Warden healer, giving group toughness, transmutation, spc, and magma incarnate. the 2 dps can be anything, a templar in group would be nice.

2 pc Bogdan Monster 5 pc Transmutation (back bar) 5 pc Impregnable (body light) Stacking crit resist in no-cp is super reliable especially on Templar healer In a BG scenario, you will be mobile probably the entire match only stoping for combat or mild defense. Therefore you need to constantly have your HoTs down. The most important heal to always have up and near you is Blood Alter and Purify for the synergies. When you move to a new location you need to put these down first to counter potential Dark Convergence or Ulti attacks. Teammates can use the alter to get back to full health instantly.

Although it's been a staple for my PvP healers for years now I've found Transmutation to be underwhelming this patch after the nerf to crit damage. I just don't think it's that good right now.
