They never made it as, I’m sure people know, Volvo & Ford was a joint manufacturer. It would heavily compete against Ford RS, RS500 & ST sales. That was a no no. Ford being the owners, they had the final say. So they gave us the T5 and a “Polestar” tune option and called it a day. Shame. This is beautiful. My favourite part is the rear spoiler using 2 of the Driv-E eco spoilers 😅 My only contribution to this car in my ownership is my custom made 3D printed phone mount, designed to replace the radio fascia and hold your mobile phone in a landscape orientation. Like a basic version of Car Play.

I think the engine rebuild and the AWD swap are probably the easiest thing on this whole project! Put some rods in, shim the block, add proper valve springs, and something like a GT2876. 550HP achieved. For the AWD swap just take the whole drivetrain from a V50 T5 AWD. There are quite a few people who have done this. I'm doing it myself on the P2 platform right now.

Kei cars are perfect sports cars, but nah, let’s put asset money into an exotic🤦🏽and that’s the new norm. These hatchbacks were peak sporty and effective people movers - and now manufacturers blaming everyone but themselves for their well deserved demise🤦🏽 This car built like the i3 (modular carbon chassis) with an entry level turbo 3-cyl, a middle BEV at least on par w model 3, and a flat twin turbo four for the expensive one, wider and wheels pushed forward to make room because the front subframe is modular… but no. Huge SUV and Crossovers! Minivans shoved down your gullible throats! Congrats, new car market!

Isn't part of the problem a saturation of the market? During 2020/21/22 new vehicles were hard to get and so many people had to just wait, now they have those new vehicles and those who bought new just in the last 2-3 years are not really shopping for a new vehicle anyway? Is the market not saturated with relatively new vehicles, especially these trucks, especially in Wyoming?
