@@koemon_exe Well yes although it was originally called Mario Circuit for some reason.

@Mario87456 This is just my guess, but I think when it was introduced in Brawl, it was intended to be a generic Mario Kart themed stage, so they kept the name generic too, including when it was brought back for SSB4. But for Ultimate, they thought it loosely resembled the track from MKDS, so they changed the name.

@@koemon_exe I see though I believe it was also because of the Mario Kart 8 stage of the same same and by the way the course seems to be hated online for being apparently “boring” although I would have liked for it to return in 8 just because it is shaped like an 8.

It might have to do with the long length of Wario Colosseum and fitting with MK8DX's controls and physics, it wouldn't work too well to appear as a retro course unfortunately...

@@TheManOfManyNames. I would too, although WC is designed for DD's controls and being drastically different in 8DX plus its long length, it likely wouldn't be as is and would have to undergo major modifications, even if it means only 1 lap...

@@Thegamingwizard55my guy, EVERY DD TRACK IS MADE FOR DD’S CONTROLS! EVERY GAME’S TRACKS ARE MADE FOR THAT GAME! Yet here we are.

@@TheManOfManyNames. My guy, as much as I want WC to return, the problem is it might have to undergo A LOT of changes to the track layout and possibly even remove a lot of the turns (or maybe preserve them but reduce it to only one lap like N64 RR)
