FEM Tutorial: How to Solve A 2D Heat Transfer Problem Using COMSOL Multiphysics PDE Module

A solution of a two dimensional heat transfer problem. This is the problem 4.23 from Fundamentals of Heat and Mass Transfer by Incropera, DeWitt, Bergman, and Lavine. This tutorial shows how to solve that problem by using PDE Module of COMSOL Multiphysics. Same problem can also be solved by using the Heat Transfer Module of COMSOL Multiohysics.
FEM Tutorial: How to Solve A Partial Differential Equation Using COMSOL Multiphysics

This tutorial shows how to solve a partial differential equation using Finite Element Analysis software COMSOL Multiphysics. Only a 1D PDE is solved in the video using different EBCs and NBCs. However, a similar approach for 2D, 3D, and time-dependent problems works just as fine.

Why did you get similar solution again at the end?

I have a question about postprocessing and exporting raw data from COMSOL. I want to compare the results of a 2D heat conduction calculation of COMSOL with analytic solution. I want to export raw data from COMSOL to excel (no post processing) I want simply the results on the nodes/grids. Also I would like to turn off the post processing. Do you know how to do that? Thanks

In the problem, diameter is 0.25m not radius.

Very nice. I thing there is a mistake in the typing of the boundary condition (I mean in the subtitle explaining the tutorial): you wrote h_in instead of h_out. Thank you very much for this very nice tutorial
