Can't wait to see your vlog and your thoughts on what you ended up reading. Thrillers are so challenging for me because I'm always left feeling slightly unsatisfied at the end since it's not always a beautiful happy ending like a romance. And I definitely don't do horror 😅 I did read Riley Segar new one for summerween though.

Pretty Policeman by Fifer Rose is a m/m mafia book I read it last year and really enjoyed.

I’m currently reading The Hacienda by Isabel canas and I’m really enjoying it! I think her books r like gothic romance horrors lol she always has a romance in her books apparently

I am so glad you were able to honor and celebrate your birthday in a way that feels meaningful to you. I've been feeling very stuck recently between my health, my job, isolation because of covid, etc. and my beautiful wonderful therapist dropped this knowledge bomb on me the other day: "just because things look different than you thought they would doesn't inherently mean you've failed."
