Will this work on a 2019 Turbo s4
will this work for the 4 seat generals?
Yep 4 seat is the same
Couldn’t you use the 8” wheel on the mountain sled as well? So if you have both trail and mountain sleds just one set of wheels needed.
Yes you could but the only issue is that Mountain sleds usually have a deeper keel on them so you may not get much lift off the ground with the 8" wheel. Easy to measure that as well.
Looks like a beneficial product and pretty easy to install. Simple to remove when washing the machine. Thanks for the video... One suggestion: Consider getting a lavalier microphone to make the audio portion of the video a bit more tolerable for your viewers.
Thanks. Yea I agree I need to get myself a mic.
Is it waterproof?
Yes handles water very well
Do you have any advice on how to properly wire a dimmer switch to a single Alpena 15" Terra off-road light bar? Any special preparations/care that I would need to take? What is my simplest and most economical route to take? Any advice would be much appreciated... Thanks!
Can't find the kit
Where do you get the kit
www.tericksolutions.com
How did you remove the rear seat in the expedition XP 5?
Just wondering if you took a decibel reading before and after the sound/temp was fitted, ?
man that carpet is going to collect so much dirt and dust....and vacuum can only get so much...just IMO for Az
AZ is actually one of our biggest markets. We are shipping product there almost daily. Most just use a leaf blower to blow the dust out in between deep cleanings.
I used your video today to wire two Rough Country LED light bars each of which came with their own harness that included a relay but was designed to connect directly to the battery terminals. I wanted to connect each to the Polaris Pulse accessory bar and take advantage of the switched power to avoid battery drain. I removed the ring terminals from the positive and negative leads from each wiring harness and connected them with butt connectors to the red and black wires of Pulse bar pigtails. I then followed your instructions to remove the control wire from the relay where it was connected and reconnected it with a butt connector to the blue wire on the pigtail. After ensuring that everything worked as desired I heated the heat shrink tubing over the butt connectors and zip tied all the extra wire from the harness. I also added some labels to help me keep things straight as I add more accessories. Thanks for the great tips and easy to follow video!
Did you build this kit, or can a person buy it
@@RoyDomke-ee9bw yes we sell this on our website. www.tericksolutions.com
I can't fond the video of the putting sound dampening on the rear
very much the same on the Can-am as the other sound deadendng videos i have with the RZR, Xpedition, or the General.
What do you do if you have a power windshield washer installed will this still work
Can you email me pictures of that Wiper setup? I'm sure If I saw it I could tell you.
Will this work as a heat shield? My 21 commander gets so freaking hot in the cab and Id really love to use this as a solution if it works, Thank you!
Yes this product works as a heat insulation as well. We also have a shifter insulation kit for that machine on our website.
Looks like nice material. I have a defender max limited, im wondering if besides behind the rear seats if i could put it in the engine bay from the other side too at the bottom. Biggest issue is if getting it wet would cause it to come off? Thanks for the video, exactly what i was looking for!
No it will not come off if it gets wet
I do notsee these on your website?
I sold off this line to B’s Fab. I think they will have them available again soon. bsfabutv.com
Are you connecting your fuse to the pos battery and the modified switch wire to your key? Also, what wires hook to the 5 pin switch?
Is it available for the RS1?
Our Sound deadening is for any machine. As far as a carpet kit. We don’t have one for a RS1
Hello, I did get the expedition floor mats from you so now I bought the ranger XD 1500 crew cab is there a possibility you’ll be coming out with those floor mats I would be happy to buy a set
Yes we will be coming out with mats for most all Polaris UTV’s in the coming months. Stay turned!
Ordered a complete kit including the acoustic pads. Hope it helps!! Had the polaris clutch recall done as well
Did it work?
@@HSpwn-lv8yj It helped! Was hoping for a little more. Mine is the ADV.
Should have had someone else video this. Never saw under seat
What uppers are on your buddies XP4?
Polaris Factory doors
Great video, thank you 🙂 This worked great, except ☝️ Im trying to hook up 2 switches - front light/back light. My problem is both switches turn on both lights. Im pretty sure its how the switch bank is jumped together but idk. Any ideas? I have 2 switches just like the type you show here (should there be a disclaimer on this video "for single switch only!" ?)
Would it work for a headliner? Just added my roof and now we can't have a conversation without yelling. Also what about water and dust?
Absolutely! lots of people are putting this on the roof. And yes can get wet and be washed off.
Hello is this still available to purchase? Also will it work on a polaris general xp 1000 limited?
With trying to keep up on all our other products we decided to discontinue these lights.
Any reason you can't use the carpet kit as a template?
Some areas you can. But there are more nooks and crannies that the sound deadening goes into and the carpet goes over.
I installed some sound deadner and definitely know what you are talking about as well as the high back carpet kit. Fits good but had to do a little trimming where the seatbelts attach and the clips for the filler panel was just slightly off. Also had to do a tiny bit of trimming just below the top seatbelts to fit. Overall I am very happy and would recommend to anyone.
With everything that you have for the xpedition, how much differance will it make with the noise?
The Feedback has been fantastic. On the machines I did I lowered the cab volume by 10-12dB at 35 MPH
Good to know! I will be doing mine soon!@@tericksolutions6419
Yeah light works but where is the day time light wire and turn signal from rzr 😂
Stock Xpedition cab noise is around 85db cruising speed using decibel app on phone. Did you check what yours is with sound deadening kit?
From the App I used, it was 95 dB to start and 83 dB after.
How many sheets of the sound deadening mats are needed for a xpedition xp 5
You need 6 sheet of our 100mil SD most people are buying 8-10 packs
There's two bolts on each end of the seat frame and two in the middle and that whole seat frame lifts out in one piece. Probably much easier than removing just the back.
Thanks for this video! I've been trying to figure out how to jumper to just accessory power for my ranger!
Can you only wire up the turn signal wire and omit the DRL?
yes you can
thanks. Great video with great ideas...
My new Xpedition Northstar XP has a sound deadener carpet on the back wall and rear sides from the factory.
Wish they did that with the Xpedition , I wanna meet these jackasses that design these things
The factory is not doing everything that I did there. Just a FYI
@@tericksolutions6419 I'm not saying they did, just a general statement that mine came with a very heavy sound deadener on the rear panel. I added Siless 200 mil 3 in 1 to under the factory rear panel pad, under the seats on the battery access and fuel pump access, inside the center console and a few other small areas. What a difference, it's a night and day difference.
@@icehog2367 That’s bull shit! I just got mine Friday and no sound deadener anywhere. Northstar ultimate xp5. That is encouraging though that this stuff works. I love the machine but my god it’s loud.
Can u leave these on when parked in the garage without the tires getting a flat spot being foam filled?
They will flat spot. What I do is place a 6" long piece of 2x4 under the ski for when I store them.
is there enough exposed threads to take the weight and pressure?
Most sleds yes. if not we offer bolt kits to accommodate that.
I installed the wiring kit from niteliite, was prewired basically plug n play, so now I have constant power to the rocker switch and the light on the bottom of the rocker stays lit constantly, ita suppose to go on n off with the key. I have switched the wires around every way possible on the back of the rocker switch to try n get it to work with the key on but no luck. The directions said for the key on was to jump the red wire to the #6 on the back of the switch but that just gives it constant power to illuminate the bottom part of the switch. What could possible be wrong here?
i got the same issue .. how to wire this to get the led to only come on with keyed ignition
You going to do the carpet kit for Yamaha RMAX 2?
I don't have plans for that at the moment sry.
Will this kit work with a 2023 xpedition
I have never tried but I'd highly doubt it.
Can this be used with the overhead CanAm control panel for the wiper and lights?
Honestly I'm not sure how that mounts. I'm guessing with a little modification it would work fine.
Whete do i buy it
www.tericksolutions.com
How does the it sound
Much better. Saw about a 10 decibel reduction. Made it a lot easier to talk while driving
Are you going to be doing a new Polaris Xpedition? Thanks!!
Yes, that is my next project!
I don't have a Razor, but I'm thinking about doing the same thing to my Coleman Outfitter 400 UTV as it's a little noisy sitting in it.
Do you have any videos on the new xpedition? Thanks!!!
Not yet but that is my next project.
@@tericksolutions6419 Cool can't wait!
Where can you buy these products

I would have to guess after that carpet gets wet it will probably get smelly
Dries out very well but thanks for bringing up this concern.
