I’ve yet to play gears of war 2, but Playing og gears of war 1 has been magical
Gears 2 is awesome you’re gonna love it 🔥
Basically I would bump Reach up to the Number 2 slot, never played 5 or infinite after 4 came out the way it did, watched their campaigns and can say don't like the story. Nothing 343i actually did felt like it continued off of the OT, more like a new story based off of Halo that it many places felt like it was mocking the Originals rather than paying tribute. Nice shoutout to C3 SaberTooth
Man who would have guessed that naming a studio after a character that betrays you throughout the series should have been a warning. Unfortunately we didn't price it together.
The only guy in the whole world that liked the Watchers. LOL! Nice video though! :)
@@MacBamboocha 😂 thank you lol
I badly wanted a shinobi game so i picked sekiro.. combat was hard for first few hour . But after i understood those mechanics it was a breeze.. the game really clicked while fighting with lady 🦋
EXcelent video man. Loved it. great content
@@nuneselso Thank you 😊 🙏
Really good video! So true how this works. Fire Emblem Three Houses was my intro into tactical RPGs and I think it drew me in because of the characters and story and the idea of three factions even though I’d never considered picking up that kind of game. But the gameplay ended up being a lot of fun!
Thank you! 🙏Fire emblem games get a lot of shit, but they are solid games. I need to get around the three houses soon
God I hate the driving section. Great video keep at it!
@@SpoolyWoo Thank you 🙏

I just suddenly realized: why are we giving 343 Industries so much leeway with Halo 4? Just because they asked us nicely, and told us it was their first game? We don't give other video game companies that sort of slack.
There are definitely some apologists, but I feel like most people are giving them lots of shit lol
I literally downloaded super metroid today because I've been hooked on Hollow Knight the past month. It really has flipped a switch in my head and made me interested in games I used to instantly glance over
Yep, this is it! Super metroid is great. I played it on switch online, and I'm glad I did.
Remnant got me into souls games, RE4 remake got me into survival horror, dusk got me into boomer shooters
maybe someday i'll finally figure out how to play tactics style games, so i can enjoy FF tactics and such
Spider-Man 2018 got me into open world games which i didn't like them at all, because i found them really boring
also very nice video! keep up the good work ♥️
looking forward to mgs video, keep up the good work <3
Thank you 🙏🙏
Super Metroid to me was peak 16bit era. Zelda Ocarina of Time peak 64bit era. Metroid Prime was peak nintendo 128bit era, Metal Gear Solid 3 was peak sony. Gaylo was peak Micropenis. Then i got into pc and Half Life locked me in and i'm still in, waiting... and Diablo 2 made me fail a school year. Nowdays we got so many talented people making games i can't even tell you where is the peak because it feels like it's everywhere all at once. Personally i been no lifing Killing Floor 2 (3k hours) and Warhammer Vermintide 2, 4.600 hours and counting. Also went loko on Battlefield 4 (and 1) then spent a time in Frostpunk. Can't even mention Frostpunk without feeling the urge to drop a wall of text, just know that a kid's place is in the coal mine.
You just casually come in here and start name dropping all these bangers. Jeez 🔥

@@JSilv3r Cmon now, if you were there in 2007 YOU KNOW it was that and more.
I got into both turn based RPGs and jrpgs when I tried persona 5 . It became my favourite game of all time and I started trying other turn based RPGs like dragon quest 11 . These type of games are truly amazing once you get into them!!
Well, I had a game that didn't open my eyes to the category it laid in but to gaming as a hobby and huge part of my life. I first began with Super Mario 64 and it was a blast. I still have high praise and great memories with that but when I was older and I first played Fallout New Vegas, my god, It transcended all my nostalgia and I became enveloped and enamored with gaming after that. The outlet it provided at such a lowly spot in my life, without question, changed it for the better. I think all be forever biased to it, flaws and all, because of who I was when I played.
At first Xbox’s transparency is one of the factors that drew me to them this Gen. It baffled me how much they put faces and words out there communicating to their fans compared to PlayStation and Nintendo. Now I want them to just shut up and not comment on anything unless in an interview, cuz their words are just that now…words. Words that probably are honest at the time but the problem is you never know what’s going to happen and as a higher up unfortunately your words become promises to many. No more words or ideas…I now just want them to be like PS and Nintendo just showing games when they got something to show.
Perfectly said, Kibiji
Still sad the franchise is dead. I pray for embracer group and square enix to forever be cursed for their sin of greed and murder of the best franchise deus ex
Very true, seems like they were on the right path to make a banger of a sequel to MD
Human Revolution is one of my favorite games of all times. Never played the previous ones but that game i really enjoyed playing multiple times.
So damn good
@@JSilv3rYes. And I agree with the performance issues that you mentioned. Director's cut is really messy even after they patched it. It really pisses me off that they didn't get the performance right it's such a great game.
@@collateraldamage4453 the performance is a bigger deal than it may seem because now this is the only way to experience the game, being a poor one. What a disappointment
Awesome video 😩 you deserve more subs
Thank you 🙏
I used to be very dismissive of JRPG's, thinking it was all just pointless, repetitive grinding. But playing Final Fantasy 7 showed me that these games often contain rich stories and memorable characters that are very satisfying to see through to the end. From there, Persona 3 (original) taught me that even repetitive dungeon-crawling for hours at a time can be enjoyable or even relaxing once you get into the groove. Nowadays, JRPG's are probably my favorite genre, and I'm constantly seeking out new ones to play, and the grind-y dungeon crawls are almost always my favorites.
The only imsim available on phones. Alternatively, Human Revolution from Temu
😂
I tried Fire Emblem: Three Houses on a whim as my fiancé was playing it and the anime art style looked pretty cool. It got 90 hours out of me and helped me get into Baldur’s Gate 3 - which then actually got me into real life DND. Fallout New Vegas clicked for me after playing some Baldur’s Gate 3/DND. I had approached it too much as an action RPG when I should have been focusing on the full role play aspect. Slay the Spire made deck builders click - right now I’m on Balatro, I only bought it last week and I’ve probably played about 25 hours already.
can outlast trinity be run on series x
Yes. All of my footage was captured on Series X
@@JSilv3r okay thank you
Great video bruv 😀
Thanks bruv 🤙
Thank you.
You’re welcome
your mom is a liar
It’s funny because I was reminded this game exists a few days ago, I accidentally unclicked my Mac-Only filter on steam (lol I know) and saw that I actually own it for some reason 👀
Bloodboorne and hollow knight in the same thumbnail, i must watch. But i do wish the video was longer.
Thanks for the feedback. I struggle with video length because some will watch longer videos while others would be turned away. I'll keep it in mind tho 🙏
I completely forgot about this game until I saw your video in my recommended list. I'm a big Deus Ex fan, but never got around to this one. Mainly because of the things I've heard about it. Your video persuaded me to give it a try soon; I got it in a Deus Ex bundle sale years ago so why not. Great video!
Yea it’s a weird one for sure, but it’s worth a play-through at least. And thanks for the kind words 💪
Ghostrunner there was a definite moment where I felt like i breezed through a level but died 99 times. The flow clicked and failure was no longer a set back but a part of success and after 1921 deaths over my 11 hour and 15 minute playthrough i won and nothing can take that away.
I think it was Shovel Knight that made me care more about games that are pixelated, not just for a matter of style, but also for gameplay. This made me realize that pixelated games can be fun until this day and that is not a oudated thing for games. Without Shovel Knight maybe I would never had played Stardew Valley, Momodora, Eastward and many other titles.
I remember that Metroid Zero Mission was the game that got me into the Metroidvania genre. Man, that game was so sick.
The Heroes of Might and Magic series on PC first got me into turn-based strategy games, but a more recent game that really hooked me on the genre is a humble Indie game called Into The Breach.
Bioshock helped me understand immersive sims, allowing me to later love Dishonored and Prey, as well as trying Weird West and the System Shock remake
Hades got me into roguelite and I believe it's the same case for a lot of people. One more example, not really got me into the genre but more like open to it, Vampire Survivor.
For me it was Salt and Sanctuary. It finally made me understand the souls genre and made me complete all of the souls games.
persona 5 got me into jrpgs and now that whole series (ofc i mean from persona 3) is one of my all time favourites
I've been wanting to sit down and give those games a solid try. The time commitment is insane tho
The only genre istill cant even think to try is tactic i think its for old people who are tired and just want to chill Idk
😂😂
Sea of Stars "unlocked" jRPGs for me. I bounced off better games like Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 7 because they start slow. Sea of Stars hooked me in with its beautiful graphics and fun combat mechanics and ever since I "got" the jRPG formula, I have managed to complete the classics mentioned above and absolutely fell in love with the genre. Playing through Persona 5 now.
Yes! This is exactly what the video is about, that's awesome 🔥 great games
What game is that at 0:18
Tactics Ogre Reborn
@@JSilv3r thank you so much. Keep going with your channel, I can see it being a really big one in no time.
@@datmantj7 Thank you sir 🙏
If Bloodborne AND Prey is in a thumbnail you know this guy gets it.
This guy gets it
Mass Effect 1 changed my gaming life as a fps gamer. Resident evil 4 also had a similar experience.
Great content. Subbed
Talking about how Monster Hunter was "too boring" before it was casualized or how Portal's mechanics would be "boring" without the funny characters sounds like peak dopamine burnout to me man idk
I didn't get my point across then. MH world teaching you to walk before you can run, and portal luring you in with the characters, but you stay for the puzzles themselves. Sorry lol
Also don't put quotes around shit I didn't say, that's not cool
Not how I interpreted the video. More like it’s just one great type of game that can hook you in and ease you into the genre to make you appreciate the other games in this genre. Like the Elden Ring example he gave is excellent for instance. I’ve loved those games since Ds1, but Elden Ring has been massively successful, more so than any other fromsoft game partly because it is more welcoming to new players who might just give up, so a lot more people are going back to play bloodborne and darks souls etc. even if they were initially turned off by the reputation those games have for being difficult. It’s not about having a short attention span or anything just that sometimes it takes one great experience with a genre to open you up to it
@@jordanbrown3816 nailed it 🔥
I think it was Darkest Dungeon that got me into all kinds of turn-based games
Been waiting on Breath of the Wild to click for 3 years now
It’s funny you say this because my cousin played botw, beat it and enjoyed it. Then a bit later he’s like “now that I think about it the game was empty and the world was boring” 😂
I always thought RPG's were hardcore nerdshit. Then I gave Fallout 3 a chance and it completely blew my mind. The, more or less, typical FPS design and open world gameplay (and graphic violence) really helped ease me into roleplaying and framed the systems in a way that I really got. It may be the most influential game on me still.
