Everyone is Included
All have felt excluded at some point in time in our lives. We know what it is like for everyone else to be invited and you specifically were left out. It really hurts those who have experienced it. We all want to belong to something fantastic with full of care, compassion and love.
Luke 2:8-14 Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. 10 Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. 11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: 14 “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”
Shepherds were elevated when a shepherd boy named David ascended the throne and became the greatest King Israel has ever known. After 100 of years have passed shepherds become the low class citizens, disgusting and filthy because the sheep ate up roots and all, leaving the ground barren. God sent angels to tell the good news to the lowest of the lowly of peoples, the shepherds that a child was born, a Savior, a God, the prophesied Messiah, the Christ was born in a manger. God recognizes the poorest among us. Woman were also low class citizens and not reliable witnesses in public. They were good for just childbearing, but God saw fit to bring God through a woman, a low-class citizen. God telling us that everyone is important to Him, that no one is excluded unless you choose to be, and everyone is loved by God. Many have a Mental health disorder called Seasonal Affective Disorder abbreviated SAD, which only happens during the holidays, it does not happen at any other time of the year. I personally know what this feels like, but rest assured it is comforting to know that the God of love with us and will take care of us.

The greatest gift of love that God has ever shown to man was the giving of Himself, Jesus sacrificed His body with shame on the cross for you and me. So, the greatest gift you can give this Christmas...

Treasure Hunt
มุมมอง 59 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
It is always fun doing a treasure hunt, looking for clues to find the next clue leading you to the treasure. I would hide my children’s presents and then give them rhymes that would be a clue to finding their Christmas treasure. They would get excited when they figured out the clue and run to the location. It was fun for them to figure it out and a family memory they will always remember. Manki...
Turn The Setting To Joy
มุมมอง 69 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
When someone goes out of their way to help you in your time of need, especially if they suffered shame because they loved you, what would it mean to you? If this person paved the way for you to have a better life of love and joy, would that make a difference in how you view them or respond to them. Hebrews 12:1b-2 let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, t...

This time of the year we present gifts of various shapes and sizes to people we love, some we tolerant, some as a peace offering, and others to dear friends. Gifts are at best a very small token of our love and can never fully express the full extent of our love for one another. We give the very best of who we are to our spouses but rarely does anyone else. For the most part we give our best ta...
Are You Missing The Miracle?
มุมมอง 1812 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Sadly, many people today do not ponder or consider the baby Jesus born of a virgin lying in a manger. They see the manger scene in every marketplace and some even have them in their living rooms. But they do not give Jesus a second thought, well, it’s just something we do every year, and others use His name as a cuss word. Humanity openly rejects Jesus in many public places and in the media bec...

God’s Greatest Gift

I know that I have seen evil, and violence increase in our neighborhoods across the globe. I have picked up a newspaper or watching the online news that there are many people whose conscience in seared with a hot iron. Meaning they have become heartless, without remorse for their victims. For the most part the humblest, caring, compassionate, and loving people on the planet are those who believ...

Boarding The Wrong Flight

Many claim they are ready for heaven and ignorantly live their lives in great error not fully knowing the word of God’s truth. There is no greater tragedy than thinking you are ready for heaven and missed it because you are trying to earn your way into the Kingdom. When God says the only way into heaven is through grace by faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, He means it. 2 Corinthians 13:5-...
Knock, Knock, Who’s There?

If you are perceptive, you can tell something isn’t quite right with this world, something isn’t quite right with yourself. You can feel life’s emptiness, void, and vanity of it all. Yet those around you ignore the spirituality of God, but His reality is the only thing that makes any sense. When you embrace God and His truth you realize your purpose in life is to reach out to others. That etern...

The whole object of our being is to realize our utter sinfulness before God, to humble ourselves before him, to grasp ahold of how much God loves us, and be filled with the fullness of Christ. As Christians, we all should be striving toward this end. But there is a progression that God allows us to go through to bring us to the fullness of Christ. Mindset of Christ: Character traits
มุมมอง 264 ปีที่แล้ว
We as Christians need to live out into our lives the character traits of God the Father just as Jesus did during his earthly ministry. Jesus said, if you know me you know the father. When people look at you do they see you or do they see the Father in you?
