I messed this interrogation up so many times because like Towa, I assumed Madarame had something to hide. After getting his bad end twice and a few more tries, I realized he’s never hid anything. I was so obsessed with the mystery of the man, and assumed he was like everyone else, I didn’t see what was right in front of me. Bam, picked all the right choices in right order. It was an amazing moment compared to many of the other interrogations! Though I don’t like Madarame much personally, he’s definitely interesting and the ending was very exciting. I love this game so much~

BUT WHATEVER honestly his story was so well written, and realistic. i didnt expect this game to bring some healthy relationships but here we are!!! i think him and towa suit really well together and im happy rei actually cared about him. im excited to see the other routes!!

He's been watching these two for long enough to know their deepest insecurities: Astarion not believing he deserves love and that the Dark Urge's decisions are futile. Seeing his master try to resist their urges all their life makes sense and, creepy as it is, it's easy to imagine Sceleratis watching the two of them together. But what really resonates with me is that pretty corpse line. That was the first thought the Dark Urge had when Astarion joined their side. To hear that phrase repeated verbatim here takes it from an intrusive thought to an obsession.
