I have been using Inventor for a while, but never really noticed those buttons or thought about their function, but today I needed to change an extrusion into a separate solid, and your video showed well how to do that, and I got some useful bonus info from your video too 🙂👍

Hi Mark great tutorial, my dimensions lengths have also scale up I’ve used an acadiso template and drafted in mm (metric) @1:1 scale. The title block 420 x 297 (A3) and then scaled the X and Y to 20. The 2D draft area seem small so I scaled to a factor of 20. but now a measurement at should be 100mm is showing up as 2000mm. Sorry just not getting the annotative scale thing in my head yet, Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Mark for other great video. just to let you know Base icon is showing and views are clicked on but its still not going in to model space, its goes into inventor which i don't have and asking me to pick object. i can't seem to get around it.

Another great video Mark. It would be great if you could go though the full dimension, paper space, annotation scale or anything else you think would help. I am more familiar in using metric myself so any help on that side of things would be appreciated.

Hi Mark, what is the best way to show the it on paper space on A4 297 x 210 paper or A4pdf My Title-B & object seem ok but dimensions scaled to big, I think i will be hitting replay a couple of times. :-)

WOW, I've been tinkering with AutoCAD for over a year and you used a number of efficient techniques I have never used before, probably the most I've see in a single video. Of course I needed to pause and replay to duplicate. thanks!
