@@user-pm4fp4pr9t Imlil was very fortunate, perhaps as it's a tourist town the buildings were much better made. All villages that got destroyed were either made with mud bricks or rocks so they had no chance in a 6.8 quake.

@@user-pm4fp4pr9t I don't about that village, but many people died in villages near Imlil and towards Asni. In Asni a big medical camp has been set up. Everybody sleeping outside. In Marrakech it seems completely normal. I go south in a few days, but people told me in Agadir they felt the quake, also in Fez, so the whole country experienced it, just in the High Atlas mountains is where everybody died

Hey, my dad contacted me late last night, via a Satellite phone - and he is ok. The roads are blocked, and there is no internet, but the main thing is that he is OK.
