Added LED tube lighting, had the board fix had a handful of random issues. I kept getting “reel error” and “Door Open” my tech worked on the board and added the extended sound card to give the machine a little more fun to the sounds! Now to add TITO printer. Construction company was adding some rainwater runoff drains in the street today and even working as gently as they were, they clipped my Watermain. Let the water flow! 
S2000 slot machine General Reel Tilt issue

I just picked up this S2000 and it was working for about 50 plus plays and then this happened.. Still trouble shooting but if anyone can add and info that would be great! Reseated MPU and reels made sure they were clearing the door. Reseated all the reels as well.

It’s always strange when you drive down a major route like I-95, and see no traffic traveling the other way. As I was heading into work today I got on I95 at Cottman Avenue heading southbound and this is what the northbound lanes look like. Bally Who Dunnit pinball Taxi mod with blinking led

Found this little taxi on eBay. I drilled out the bottom and screwed a post in using the post to mount an LED socket. I then simply installed a flashing LED inside of the taxi in the backseat. Even the taxi light blinks on the roof. I still need to clean up the wiring and figure out which way I want to run it. It’s currently tied into the G.I. circuit. Cheap mod!Follow that cab!

Here is a little fly over video of my Sega Independence Day 4. pinball by Sega. I picked this up over the summer time and did a full shop out adding LEDs. The boards had to be rebuilt due to acid damage but everything is working great and it’s back to life.

Here’s a little flyover video of my Sega Independence Day for pinball machine. Freshly shopped out with frosted 2SMD LEDs in the G.I. and controlled lights. LED in the through, LED in the alien head, and an LED in the upload virus hole.  New rubbers all over and freshly waxed. On the ramps are use the flame technique. I also did 4 LED color changers underneath the spaceship on the play field....

I was having some issues with my alien head on my independence day 4 Sega pinball. The issue was the ball would not register when it broke the beam of the optical sensor. It wound up being cold solder on both Molex connectors. Someone had already reflowed the bigger connector but they did a poor job of it. So I had to re-flow that again. And then I rearranged my transmit Opto and as you can see...

Thank you for this trailblazing! Can you show a close up of how you bolted the compressor. I'm standing here with mine in hand and can't fathom how to tighten it (has the captured bolt head feature). Did you drill a new hole in that metal section holding up all the plastic?

If anyone sees this I have the same machine but mines saying low battery where is the battery located
It's on the mother board behind the hopper. You can order them on eBay but they need to be de-soldered out and the new one soldered in. You'll most likely need a clear chip and run that procedure as well after the battery swap.

I did not. I have'nt used one of those in any of my games yet but I do want to try one. I'm afraid I'll install it in one of my pins and then want it in all of them! :) Typically Comet 2SMD non ghosting LED's are what i'll use.
My top had black and white wires but now the belly glass has all black wires wha t do I do
You would have to follow the wires back to the transformer and starter and see if there is a different color along the way. Possible a wire broke in the door (common from open and closing them all the time at the casino) and just replaced the white with a black wire they had laying around. I would do that first and see what you find.
I have a pachislo slot and it uses a t8 13inch florescent tube. It wasn't readly available at my local hardware stores. I instead ran a 12v power supply and used a LED strip light it looks great. far cheaper then the tube lights from amazon. Now it had me thinkning i can now use programable LED instead.

I have a 1994 Wild Cherry slot and the winner paid and credit displays went out. Do you have any idea how to fix this issue. Everything turns on just no digital display and cant bet and spin the reels. Thanx
How did you get the glass off?!
Open the door and in the middle of the chrome piece on the top glass you’ll see a small notch that you can get your finger in there and just push it up and pull it toward you to get it out.

Good video! Google maps routed me south to the New Jersey Turnpike for long distance travel so that is probably what a majority of trucks are doing.
It was a mess today. Takes me 25 mins to get to work took me hour and 45 today!!

A year or two ago, I bought replacement LED lamps to replace the florescent lamps in my 2 slots. They are 120 vac. When I finally got time to do the modifications, I saw that my ballasts are fed by 25 vdc! I guess I will have to run 120 vac to the lamp fixtures.
Very easy to do. That's what I did in my video here. Tossed that old ballast and started out for good! The heat those ballast and florescent tubes make it brutal in a home setting. Now I know why the casino's were always freezing back in the day!

So I have the same set up as you to a T. I Did the same as your video and put my led bulb in and it will blink at start up and that's it. Light does not stay on. Any Ideas I'm pretty handy checked all connections they are fine. ??????
Might be your sockets the lamps plug into. I've seen those go bad before. Do all of them blink? Did you swap out all 3? If you move the LED tube around to the other locations do they still blink?
@@jimchaudrue7675 Sockets look to be in great condition. I did not do the others yet wanted to make sure it was gonna work first. It doesn't even blink now I think it blew it. Is it a special led bulb?

Don't they make LED tube drop in replacements that don't require any re-wiring? I thought they did but I might be mistaken
They do make them but this is the cleanest way removing the old transformer and starter. Weight and heat will come down. Not sure how long the LED tubes would last still using the transformer.

I'm curious if you know how many of each type of bulb you had to order for this (I'm just being lazy about counting each type!) and also curious what you did for the colored ones that are traditionally covered by plastic covers - Did you just use white LEDs that the colored plastics fit over or did you use colored LEDs? I think you still used the colored covers again based on the video, but just curious. Looking to help a friend do the same with her Pistol Poker..

I didn’t. I found out it’s a CAD bill validator and most likely won’t even work with current CAD since they always change their money. I’d have to replace the entire thing.

just need to swap the buttons to new ones with LED bulbs. you can also get replacement bulbs for that machine that allow you to install LED tube bulbs to replace the CFLs without bypassing the ballast. although, I made my 3 LED tubes in DDD S+ all operate on a light switch so i can turn them on/off as I want.
I just ordered three LED fluorescent replacement tubes. I like to do the ones that you remove the ballast and starter. Lightens up the machine a little bit and take some heat away from the inside. I’ve done that on the other three slot machines I currently own and that way they all match. I already have the LEDs ready for the buttons. I like the LEDs on only because they really make the artwork pop. This one had a bell inside as well but I took it out and installed it in one of my other machines.
