Welcome to the 2024 ILCA District 13 Championship. The St Petersburg YC is looking forward to a great event and we hope you all have a safe trip. Below is some important logistical information that we ask you to please read thoroughly.
SPYC Guest Cards
● Visitors are encouraged to pre-register for a guest card which allows access to SPYC’s clubhouse food and beverage outlets. Click Here to register for a guest card.
Venue
● ILCA Dinghy’s will be stored on dollies and launched daily from Elva Rouse Park (N Shore Dr NE & 10th Ave NE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701)
● Boats may arrive at Elva Rouse Park beginning at 10am Friday, December 6th, and must be removed from the park by 6pm Sunday, December 8th.
Coach Boats
● Coach boats will be stored at the St. Petersburg Sailing Center for the duration of the event.
Trailer Parking
● Trailers are not permitted on the grass in Elva Rouse Park. Trailers are to be stored at the St. Petersburg Sailing Center for the duration of the event.
Vehicle Parking
● There is no vehicle parking available at the Sailing Center or in the parking lot adjacent to the Northshore Pool.
● Sailors may park along the streets and in the parking lot North of the tennis courts while sailing (see diagram below)
● Friday & Sunday - Daily parking near the Sailing Center is available at Al Lang Stadium 72 1st Ave SE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701 (Not Available Saturday)
● Saturday - Daily Parking near the Sailing Center is available at the South Core Parking Garage 101 1st Ave S, St. Petersburg, FL 33701.
