Here's something that I turned up: The pharaohs that lived in Moses' 80-year life during the Egypt's 18th Dynasty prior to the Exodus - *(1526 BC)* Ahmose I, at the last year of his life, trying to control the Hebrew population by ridding the baby boys into the Nile River. - Past the next Pharaohs Amenhotep I and later Thutmose I, *(1486 BC)* Thutmose II was reigning when Moses had to flee for Midian after a "deadly argument". - *(~1446BC)* Moses and part of his family returned to Egypt; Thutmose III _(35, 30th year on the throne; his regent Pharaoh, aunt and stepmother _*_Hatshepsut_*_ died 8 years prior to the event)_ lost his firstborn child _(Amenemhat; the time of the 10th plague)_ and the Exodus of the Israelites began as they left Egypt for the「Promised Land」. _(Hint: 480 years later, Solomon is beginning his 4th year on the Israelite throne. Refer to 1 Kings 6:1 for details)_

COC members you need to study God's word for yourself. Paul wrote a commandment to study the Bible. It is located in II Timothy 2:15. II Timothy 2:15 - Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Then Paul says in Ephesians 1:13-14 - In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. COC members, your salvation is not found in Acts 2:38. That was for the gospel of the kingdom When these believers were "water baptized" they received the Holy Spirit. However, after Stephen was stoned to death, God had Saul/Paul preach the gospel of grace to all believers. I Corinthians 15:1-4 is our gospel. We are sinless through Jesus Christ's death on the cross, and have been reconciled to God the Father. Romans 5:10. This is the gospel of grace. There is no need for "water baptism" in the gospel of grace, for we are sinless in the eyes of God the Father. Romans 5:10.

I was eating lunch 4 years ago in a restaurant with our youngest daughter and her husband and their newborn son for Mother's Day. The Lord blessed me by letting me hear what an older woman said sitting in the booth behind me. She said, "They got divorced years ago and both ended up marrying other people. But now they're back together and remarried to each other." She said the woman told her the first marriage is the one God honors and that it is better the second time than it was before. I turned around and made eye contact with her and winked and gave her a thumbs up! She gave me a big smile in return. God is the one who joins an original husband and wife together - Mark 10:9 (a preacher and a piece of paper called a "marriage license" filed in a courthouse does not join them). Humans are so foolish to think that a piece of paper (called a divorce decree - signed by an earthly judge and filed in a courthouse) has any power whatsoever to unjoin what God joined together in an original, one-flesh marriage. Only death has the power to end, dissolve, unjoin a one-flesh husband and wife. According to the word of God, as long as an original spouse is still living (Mark 10:2-12, Luke 16:18, Romans 7:1-4, 1st Corinthians 7:39), remarriages to another person after divorce from an original, one-flesh spouse are not true marriages...they are only legalized adultery and they are counterfeit. Sadly, remarriage is the Trojan Horse in the church and people are having their ears tickled and are going to go to Hell if they don't repent and exit their adulterous remarriages. And I fear for the souls of teachers and preachers who are telling them they're okay all the way to Hell, because the teachers will receive the greater condemnation. 😪 Wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction and many are going that way (Matthew 7:13)...and I'll add - they're being led that way as sheep to the slaughter. Yet ye say, "Wherefore?" Because the Lord hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant. And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth. For the Lord , the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the Lord of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously. Ye have wearied the Lord with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment? Malachi 2:14‭-‬17 KJV

Amen to that. So many are offended when we just read rightly divided scriptures to them. Far better to offend someone in to the kingdom of God than to love and coddle someone in to Hell. The way to life is NARROW and FEW will find it. Matthew 7 Luke 16:18 Romans 6:1-2 Genesis 2:24 Mark 10:2-12 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Romans 7:2-3 #SoLongAsHeLiveth

    1. What type of person do you find it easiest to be dismissive of? 2. What is the difference between teaching children not to “be like those people” and teaching them “to not do what those people are doing?” What does each of those statements teach? 3. Describe the relationship among the following words, as demonstrated by God: compassion, justice, love, mercy, grace, understanding. 4. How did Jesus “walk a mile in our shoes”, and how did that impact his ability to be an advocate and mediator for us? 5. Does trying to understand someone’s motivation for behavior justify or condone the behavior under consideration? Why would a Christian want to understand other’s motives behind behaviors he/she does not condone? 6. Why does compassion not come naturally to us? 7. What does this passage mean to you: The first to state his case seems right, until his opponent begins to cross- examine him (Prov. 18:17)? 8. How does our fallenness impact our ability to empathize with others? 9. How does pride in one’s nation, birthplace, ethnicity, etc., impact the ability to practice empathy? 10. How does personal bias impact empathy? Does everyone have bias? Where do biases come from? What are the dangers presented by unconscious bias? 11. How does human competitiveness help us to dehumanize others with whom we feel competition? 12. Name some simple ways that we can be dismissive of other people without even being aware that we are doing so? 13. Were you raised that it was okay to ridicule and/or denigrate people of different religions or faiths? 14. Were you taught that it was okay to ridicule or denigrate people from other countries or from certain other countries? 15. What is the difference between sympathy and empathy? Which is greater and more impactful? Why? What is the basis for sympathy (where does it emanate from)? For empathy? 16. If God is not willing for any to perish, does he empathize with every human being? 17. Is there someone, anyone, for whom an eternity in hell is not a tragedy? Why or why not? Heb 2:17-18 17 For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people. 18 Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. Heb 4:15 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are - yet was without sin. Heb 5:1-5 5 For every high priest taken from among men is appointed on behalf of men in things pertaining to God, in order to offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins; 2 he can deal gently with the ignorant and misguided, since he himself also is beset with weakness; 3 and because of it he is obligated to offer sacrifices for sins, as for the people, so also for himself. 4 And no one takes the honor to himself, but receives it when he is called by God, even as Aaron was. 5 So also Christ did not glorify Himself so as to become a high priest, but He who said to Him, "Thou art My Son, Today I have begotten Thee"; John 2:23-25 23 Now while he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Feast, many people saw the miraculous signs he was doing and believed in his name. 24 But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all men. 25 He did not need man's testimony about man, for he knew what was in a man. Matt 18:21-35 21 Then Peter came and said to Him, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Up to seven times?" 22 Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven. 23 "For this reason the kingdom of heaven may be compared to a certain king who wished to settle accounts with his slaves. 24 "And when he had begun to settle them, there was brought to him one who owed him ten thousand talents. 25 "But since he did not have the means to repay, his lord commanded him to be sold, along with his wife and children and all that he had, and repayment to be made. 26 "The slave therefore falling down, prostrated himself before him, saying, 'Have patience with me, and I will repay you everything.' 27 "And the lord of that slave felt compassion and released him and forgave him the debt. 28 "But that slave went out and found one of his fellow slaves who owed him a hundred denarii; and he seized him and began to choke him, saying, 'Pay back what you owe.' 29 "So his fellow slave fell down and began to entreat him, saying, 'Have patience with me and I will repay you.' 30 "He was unwilling however, but went and threw him in prison until he should pay back what was owed. 31 "So when his fellow slaves saw what had happened, they were deeply grieved and came and reported to their lord all that had happened. 32 "Then summoning him, his lord said to him, 'You wicked slave, I forgave you all that debt because you entreated me. 33 'Should you not also have had mercy on your fellow slave, even as I had mercy on you?' 34 "And his lord, moved with anger, handed him over to the torturers until he should repay all that was owed him. 35 "So shall My heavenly Father also do to you, if each of you does not forgive his brother from your heart."

I was fortunate enough to be visiting on the day this great sermon was preached. Be aware that the audio recording is weak for the first 4 minutes or so. Start watching at 3:56 for a powerful and relevant message.
