please listen and buy the full album on bandcamp, it's a heavy murmuring space jam that beautifully ties together Michael's recent acoustic guitar pickings and his patented interrogations of amp circuitry: gatemm.bandcamp.com/album/electric-guitar

👍👍👍🤝
Never knew about this. Thanks, Josh!
Glenn Donaldson is pure underrated genius!
Best version
One and only The Best !!! ❤️🌹❤️
saw him playing in Brixton early 80's unforgettable!
The reworked Charlie Watts is so fucking good
All good lads! 🙂
Such an underrated band. They definitely deserve to be much better known. His guitar playing is otherworldly. I'm trying to get all their records and am almost there. Just got this one on Discogs. 🤘
The great odyssey tripple team plus my favorit bassguy Amin Ali...holy mowly😇...this recording is so marvelloso 🙏💪👍👍👍
Amin Ali and Kim Clarke were my favourite bassists in 1982 and still are 😃.
I agree
I've never studied the African languages, known any African people (my loss) or traveled to South Africa. I've listened to this compilation so many times I can actually sing along with all the songs, yet have no idea what I'm singing about. I have some insight as to the lyrics as the disc has the original song titles in African with English subtitles. Each song conveys it's subject matter in it's spiritual roots. I love how a lot of the instruments are out of tune! What they all have in common are the phenomenal African harmonies and an almost visual depiction of what they're singing about.
great stuff!
Nice
Great Music by a Great Band! Odyssey with Amin Ali.
🤩 Charles Burnhams electric Violin on Cheering 9:05 is pure magic!
Thank you for posting this! I've always wanted to hear this lp but it is very hard to find.
Thanks for leaving one last gift.
Greatest album of recorded music ever ??
One of my favorit Ulmer records 😇💪👍👍👍
First we lose Charnette, and now Grachan? How sad.
RIP Charnett❤️
great album!
Excellent quality recording of one of the most unique electric soul guitarists around. I had the fortune to buy his first album, and am so thrilled Ulmer is still performing and innovating. His live performance in Montreal ten years ago remains one of my favorite concerts. His sound is so rich.
Yessss indeed...I saw him live several times in Germany...I'm an absolut Ulmer fanatic...have this Vinyl from Switzerland 😇👍👍👍
I bought this cassette for 25¢ in the late 90's not knowing what I was buying. It turned out to be one of my favorite albums. Mbaqanga!
Thanks! I had this on cassette years ago and lost it. My fave version of Are You Glad to Be in America.
Mahatma bloody💖
Fantastičnooo🍀

Wow thanks special music
Underrated is an overused word but this whole album is seriously underrated.
My dad used to blast this in his old pickup. It always sounded cool but I never knew why he was so fascinated with it. We always listen to classic rock but we kept this on cassette since the 90s. Never knew what the lyrics meant but I’m glad I found this video. We still have the tape.
Magnificent. Makes me proud to be the same species as these lovely beings! BTW, the "decision" in question being to eat the apple, right?
My second to last eugene run. Jerry definitely took his wheaties that day. He stole my face right off my head.
big Ornette connection on this one. I miss Geri Allen, she was something else!!
thanks for posting
The one + only. Well nigh impossible to find this disc now, more's the pity. One of the true greats. Thanks for posting.
I bought the LP from Switzerland...one of the best Ulmer records ever😇👍👍👍
have always had a special place in my groin for this one. love the rough disjointed mixtape vibe that still somehow all makes sense/nonsense/antisense. killer
great record, now check out the homosexuals.
Thanks for uploading, Josh! I've always adored this album. Great to hear it again.
Great stuff man
How TF did Anton get what is the most brilliant beautiful chintzy chime ever recorded??? It sounds like maybe a Top Boost circuit but with global tremolo and reverb, both of which are stellar. This might suggest solid-state Vox, but I just don't know. I've been chasing this tone for 20 years. Any ideas?
Maybe if you wrote »Harrasment« some more people would find this? Thank you for sharing!
the idiosyncratic spelling is part of the charm.
that's the way the artists chose to spell it: www.discogs.com/George-Harrasment-Masai-Sleep-Walking/release/1229279
@@SearchYeti Exactly, with one "s", and you wrote it with "ss" (twice) ;)
@@wolfgang4468hah… whoops, so I used the correct number of esses (or s’s) - apparently both of those are correct - while also keeping the album title’s incorrect double Rs .. will change to match the artist’s spelling
