I know this video was posted 4 years ago. The part where you said your grandson loves ninja turtles but not until much later, which is understandable. I’ve seen people add the child’s middle name or nickname to the back of the stocking and each year appliqué and sequin something that the child is interested in. A favorite food or sport or character. When they are adults it becomes a real joy to look at and remember how excited they were about their personalized stocking. Just a fun idea and it can be started at anytime. It will still be a hit.

Gotta get that pan searing hot with a touch of oil before adding the shrimp. Sautee them until pink, turn down the heat to medium and THEN add the butter and garlic and salt and pepper and whatever else, but cook them ripping hot before adding butter or seasonings.

I am assuming that you were planting Cornus Florida and not Kousa Dogwood for my comment below.

The seed is collected from the red berry that is consumed quickly by birds and squirrels. So you have to be quick. I remove the seed from the red berry by squishing it out. From what I have read, the seed needs to go through hot and cold periods. I have had the most success in directly planting them in 3 or 5 gallon pots,(perhaps 50 seeds or more per pot) placing a wire mesh over them so mice and small rodents can't get to them and leave them outside all winter. In So Illinois, I always have periods of warm and cold.

Stop and think...if you read some of these rude comments would YOU be in a big hurry to record the second half?! There is a reason why it is a good idea to be kind. I found this first half to be useful and used the same philosophy to recreate the second half (which would require having help to film.) Perhaps some kind soul will now film part 2. Meanwhile, here are the steps: Cont. from video... Now, go under the canopy. You will see the canopy is supported by a giant X. 1. Push up on the plastic cover at a joint (in the middle of a section of the x) until the popout button at the leg comes out of the bottom of the corner support. 2. Repeat for each leg. (Be patient, it isn't quite as easy as it sounds and requires some wiggling and pushing) 3. For each corner of the canopy, bring the material over the corner support so that the Velcro tabs line up. (One is on the canopy and the other is near the top of the leg.) 4. Secure the velcro along the sides. 5. Extend each leg to the desired height by first putting your foot on the leg foot and then pulling up on the leg until the popout button engages. Done! :-)
