i love the keeper of the lost cities series!! it’s a children’s fantasy and is so good, super clean 😊
the caraval series and the once upon a broken heart series are both clean and really good
Depends on what you want to read, but if you’re interested in romance, lynn painter’s YA novels are a great choice (I read each of them in one sitting lol). For fantasy, I really enjoy percy jackson, but if you find that it’s too “middle school-y” then the powerless series by Lauren Roberts is also great. I don’t really read any other genre, but if you enjoy mystery, agggtm (a good girls guide to murder) is also very fun.

Hey I love the premise but I’m not a big smut reader. Is it pretty spicy or could I read it on the bus without feeling like a perv?
there are some spicy scenes, but they are easy to skip over and you don’t miss any important conversations by skipping them !! the end of the first book does get pretty dark, and i would recommend looking into trigger warnings for that.
