Nope i became a grandmaster at checkers by 12. The game is 100% solved. As is connect 4, tic tac toe, etc. It has no comparison to chess, let alone shogi or go
I'm glad to have never heard someone say something like that 😅
I can win checkers not chess
Well, they’re both board games
Soccer and American football are both played on fields.
I mean it's played on the same board. Almost like having sex with my sister and my wife is the same because I do it in the same graveyard
Its because shes wearing a dress
why do you think people play video games? every point you give is transferable to gaming.
I had a dude say I'll beat you easy started using pawns capture forward then tried moving 3 or 4 spaces at once
but then i lose 😢
If you are defining sport of physical exertion and skill, yes, though mostly skill.
Yes. In fact, a grandmaster can burn up to 6000 calories during a tournament.
Yes
lol so true
they need to raise the voting age to 25 unless you are independent from your parents

Chess is pattern recognition
Its true
Can u teach me miss coach 😁
The only way to get better at chess is to like the game, the challenge, beating people who always seem to be "coming down with something". And liking the reward when you beat those kind of people. That is the sweetest drug ever. EDIT: Direct from the polgar family. (Just google-fu "polgar chess"). I did add the drug bit myself, but brain reward is a drug :)
Fr this is me when I not at school sleeping reading or studying
