มุมมอง 1714 ปีที่แล้ว
Today we are going to work on my ct70 project. We will polish the chrome fenders with a little water and cheap aluminum foil. We are also going to straighten the taillight bracket with some basic body working tools.
Hey bro was this exhaust originally for a Honda Grom?
Hi! How many hp did you gained from the custom cpu?
Could you list a link on where to get this pipe?
Did you ever find it?
Thanks for the video, super simple
This akrapovic without a deflector looks less noisy than other similar exhausts and also without deflectors. And yet? It seems to have an acceptable noise level, without exaggeration like the others.
Yeah the exhaust note is awesome! Honestly one of the best options for the CP2 engine.
Thank u for this
Your welcome. I noticed no one else had a video on the xsr specifically vs the fz07
Can you please share the link from where you bought this from? thank you!
@Bayan Eshtiyag heres the link for the tune - 2wheeldynoworks.com/shop/ecu-flashing-service/xsr700-mail-in-ecu-flashing-service/ Also here’s the link to the 3d print file for the DNA lid copy, save yourself $100 - www.thingiverse.com/thing:3061107
@@geeksgamesandgears2369 Thank you! Could you also share the link of where you bought that particular exhaust? Thanks again
@Bayan Eshtiyag I actually picked up the exhaust used so I saved a lot. You can pick it up a from a number of places. I’ve heard you can get it from 2WDW themselves if you contact them. Here’s a revzilla link to show you the model - www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/akrapovic-racing-exhaust-system-yamaha-fz-07-mt-07-2015-2018
Thanks for posting the link to the dna copy
So the MT-07 Exhaust will fit my 2020 XSR700?
Hello, Just purchased a 79 TS250 and have a question maybe you can help with. The chrome rear bar assembly that the turn signals and tail light mount to. Where it bolts on the frame, does each side bolt to the outside of the mounting tabs? On mine, the left side does, but the right side can only bolt up on the inside of the mounting tab. Don't know if it's tweaked or that is the way it's supposed to be. Thanks.
@Dano I checked mine and there are 4 mounts for the rear grab bar. There are two at the back of the frame that also mount the fender and two at about the mid point of the seat just behind the shock gusset in the frame. On the exhaust side the bar mounts to the inside of the frame while other side mounts on the outside of the frame. I believe your 79 should be the same. Hope this helps!
@@geeksgamesandgears2369 That was perfect. Thanks!!
@Dano Your welcome! Glad I could help you out!
Did 2wdw suggest the removal of the snorkel for the tune?
@darkhome They make the tune custom to your mods. I had always planned on removing the snorkel and replacing the filter. I replaced the entire snorkel and filter cover with a 3D printed copy of the DNA lid to match the filter. If you have access to a 3D printer I recommend doing this to save yourself $100.
@@geeksgamesandgears2369 thanks for the reply. Did you get any engine codes with the install of the exhaust or reinstalltion of the ecu
@darkhome No no codes or check engine light. The Akrapovic Titanium is supposed to be safe to run on the stock tune as long as the baffle is installed. I rode it this way a while before getting it tuned. The ecu is actually really easy to remove and reinstall, much more so than the fz/mt as you only have to remove a single panel.
@@geeksgamesandgears2369 awesome. Thanks
@darkhome Your welcome!
