Had one just like this back in 77. Same color. What a nice car it was. These need to be made exactly as it was back in 76-78. Not the EPA retro computer crap. Mine had the leather interior, 460 engine.

My neighbor had this exact same car, a pristine survor example here in pgh,I Pa USA IDK if he passed away or moved when I went to NJ as a late teen and early 20s yr old but when I returned it was gone, and I was heart broken cause it's the same color as our 69 Mach1 my dad's first car to when he moved to USA in1970 from Greece,I always wanted to buy this ahotrod Lincoln and put it in same garage as our Mach 1,congrats such beautiful car,my Uncle had a 79 blue 4dt Continental collector series gold evering trim wide since brand new with the same 460 but alot more weight ,that motor still got that beautiful landboat moving,unfortunately a drunk driver totalled it ,enjoy ty for sharing

Why did they make two door versions of such full size cars? For me here in Europe we see two doors on sports cars, not big family cars.

My first "Grown up" car when I was nineteen was a 1961 Super 88 convertible, with the 98 engine. What power! And it was a total chick magnet too. I had a lot of fun with that car. Then Nam broke out, Uncle Sam called me, and Nam seemed to end a way of life that millions of us had taken for granted.
