Do Autistic People HATE Socializing?
My take on why I have trouble motivating myself to go out with people more than I do. I think this take will resonate with at least a few people out there because I am sure most of us want more friends... It is just we want friends more like ourselves!

One Year into My Adult Autistic Diagnosis
มุมมอง 621 วันที่ผ่านมา
Validation feels good, but only for so long. Having a professional tell you something you already knew makes it feel more real no matter how sure you were. Many of us get a diagnosis due to an internal struggle though. Here I talk about facing those frustrating struggles, what my feeling towards nuerotypicals became, and how battling these feelings has brought me to a new place in life. I can s...
Social Hierarchy and Autism

Our biggest enemy that we desperately need... Not all nuerotypicals are this way, but there are enough out there that on average (I think) they are. Here are some thoughts
cycles of Autistic burnout

This is basically how I have felt in my life, but I think it is more common than just me alone
Perspective Change After Autistic Burnout
มุมมอง 56 หลายเดือนก่อน
This happens for the better or for the worse... I have found myself hating autism and the human race and so on. Other times, I appreciate my way of doing things, and realize nuerotypicals do not have everything right. It is just hard for them to see this as it is hard for us to see certain things

A little rant on how I have felt my life was meaningless and how I made it better. Kept it short, but there are more strats I used than this
Deleting Your Autism to be Normal
มุมมอง 66 หลายเดือนก่อน
Would you do it? It is tempting since we deal with ALOT, but in the end I think we are the lucky ones. One main point made here, but I could definitely rant all day about why neurotypicals have it worse than us in so many ways
Feeling of Missing Out as an Autistic Person
มุมมอง 46 หลายเดือนก่อน
FOMO is common already, but I think autistic people deal with this more. Hopefully I am not alone here, but I have felt my condition gets in the way of experiencing life sometimes. It is not that we do not want to, it is that it is hard, and even, for many of us, we just can't experience normal things normally
Remembering Before You Can Talk
มุมมอง 66 หลายเดือนก่อน
I talked late... Many autistic people do and some not at all ever. I share some aspects of this since it may be similar to a non-verbal autistic persons experience. Maybe not, but it is uncommon nonetheless

My Process of Finding Out I AM Autistic

I guess I "self diagnosed", but really I just knew. I got the actual diagnosis, but I think I put the work in to know this for myself. Just a somewhat unorganized rant on this process and what I think others who are self diagnosing are doing to do so...

Autistic people TRY to placate Nuerotypicals
You made alot of solid points on this one. The seasonal burnout, patronization by normies, befriending neurotypicals. It’s pretty interesting how not everyone who has it will get along, we’re all different.
Lighting and hair looks really good
Well I currently have "lego hair" lol so maybe it is time for a cut
I have a very odd question, have you ever had physical confrontations with neurotypicals? Whether it’s brothers or kids at school?
I mean I probably come across as frustrated and angry here, so makes sense to ask, but yes I have. I've never started it, but have had quite a few people step all over on my boundaries over and over, then they get mad when I tell them to stop. I've had to defend myself physically before... It low key feels good to put someone who has 60 lbs of weight on me but a fight IQ of a carrot in their place
IQ of a carrot lmao! Good. It’s a nice plan B when logic fails.
You still friends with them? Out of curiosity
Nope, I am not. They were using me for a free hotel room and tried to gaslight me when I mentioned the issue. The disrespect was constant, and they spit on my apology. This was no real friendship and shows many people see relationships as purely transactional.
If only there was something that made me happy
There has got to be something out there for you. All I can say is work towards something, like practice a language. Progress just feels good
I feel the same as you honestly it’s sucks to be different I hate it I think about how good life could be if I was “normal”
Being normal seems to suck in its own way... We definitely get some extra issues to deal with which are often not acknowledged though
@@marcofmadness3141Mad for real like people probably think it’s easy like it’s an excuse but id personally probably give anything just to have a normal life be able to do normal things
@@c0rxpseb0i13 Hopefully with more visibility, we can live more normal. You're not alone is all I can say. It's rough, but those nuerotypicals act WAY more off instinct than us. Got to count your blessings
I don't like it as being used as a deogratory term. Great talk and relatable with the array of emotions of spells of feeling inadequate. Thank you for sharing
Thanks for the comment. I think I am going to continue sharing some of these feelings and TRY and post more... It just helps seeing there are others who experience a similar range of feelings/experiences
That’s crazy, you make some terrible friends by being open minded and non-judgmental. Tell us the h story
Oh, boy... I'll try and share a few stories eventually. There is a lot here, including ridiculous scenarios, but I think autistic people do deal with bad treatment from toxic people, often times making us toxic in the end
For me, “it’s not about the setback it’s about the comeback”. No matter how many times they knock you down you’ll come back like a phoenix
That is a wise quote which everyone can gain from. Thanks for sharing!
I have yet to explore Alice In Chains but Ik it’s an amazing band
They have some powerful lyrics, plus I like grunge. Check em out!
1:59 this is half true, there’s the post-covid loneliness but also you’re somewhere in your 20s, growing up is supposed to feel lonely, that’s how you grow!
The people who bring up iq all the time are usually on the lower end of the spectrum, food for thought.
I can see, hear and smell autism it’s not that hard. The mask is really easy to see through
Did u shower? What are those bangs?
I am so embarrassed
I apologize for my outburst. Here’s some stylish pro-tips from an emo. Never touch bangs w/ fingers, (fingerprints trap alot oils in the ridges). Master the hair-flip, or just keep bangs eye-brow length. You look good btw, I was just being a hater.
@@memenazi7078 My hair was plastered to my head because I DIDN'T shower lol. It was beanie hair. I'm fine though, told myself I am just starting to post, so be ok with some bad videos
You are not the only one. My family members experience this too. Keep being you and don't buy the script others write for you. You have value. All the best to you.
Thank you! I am sure it happens to a lot of us...
