Video games today are based on Team A who wants a game that everyone will enjoy. Platformer, Adventure, Whereas Team B, will take the "A game that everyone will enjoy" too seriously. "We need the main character to not be a white male. the main character needs to be (Insert any race) woman, along with LBGTQ+ Romance options, who identifies as "They / Them" who has a quirky fashion style. Include Extreme Left political statements. A collage mindset of (Rebel against the government) (Bigot) (and any other buzzwords to that nature) When you make something where the end goal is extreme left diversity first. The aspects of a video game and or movie becomes an afterthought. You made something too diverse. It has a niche group of people that will gravitate towards those beliefs. Thing is when you do to much on personal beliefs in a game or movie. It becomes diluted and unrelatable to the major demographic within the filming and gaming community. We're devoid from practicality by definition. I think the root of the issue stems from the "Hollywood Checkboxes" that evolved into what we now know as "Gamergate" Hollywood did it first. Video games got the same treatment I'd say a decade later. (Roughly 10 years ago today)

These lazy tokenization do more harm than good, if they just make the games focus more on good story narrative or awesome game mechanics that organically add diversity instead of shoe horning it in, they prob wouldnt flop so hard.

As someone from China, I did see some people suspecting the VA is replaced by the comment on twitter as Mihiyo still hasn't announced the reason. But I don't think so since it is such a trivial matter. However, I must say, even though there aren't many Chinese players who care about the EN VAs, in general people are worrying about something like SBI affecting anime games.

I didn't like the English voice actor, she made her sound annoyingly arrogant and emotionless I hated the character because of it and decided not to draw But now after hearing the Japanese voice, I started to like her because she seems cute and confident And not arrogant So maybe I'll get her if they change the English Voice actor to something similar

VAs have a contract and should do their job. If they are concerned about AI then they can address that when negotiating the next contract. This not showing up for work is unacceptable...she should be fired for breach of contract.
