It’s funny you ask. Crazy thing is, I once thought about how it all broke down-every little piece of it, crumbling like it was built on a foundation that wasn’t meant to hold. And it did break down, hard. For a while, I sat there, staring at it all, trying to figure out what went wrong. But after some time, I fixed it. Not perfect, not by any means, but good enough to stand tall again. Then came that day. You know how moments hit you when you least expect it? Out of nowhere, they told me to stop. Just stop everything I was doing-until I could absolutely help guide the undocumented. I didn’t even know what they meant at first. What could I do that someone else couldn’t? But then the call came. His call. He wasn’t yelling, though I could hear the frustration in his voice. He told me about everything he tried, how no one was listening, and how the weight of the world felt like it was pressing against his chest. I don’t know what it was about that conversation, but I listened. Really listened. We sat on the phone for what felt like hours, breaking it down, piece by piece. We helped him with a ton-more than I thought possible. He was grateful, sure, but there was something else, too. He was upset. Not because of what he didn’t get, but because he wasn’t a part of it. You know, it. The process, the answers, the solutions. He felt like he was standing outside a locked door, listening to the voices on the other side, wondering why he didn’t have a key. And man, that sat with me for a while. It made me think about how many people feel like that every single day. On the outside. Undocumented. Unheard. So what if there was a way to fix it? To change the entire script so nobody had to feel like that again? It’s wild, right? How things can break down just to get rebuilt better than they ever were. But here’s the kicker-you don’t have to wonder about it. You don’t have to sit on the outside. Find the link in the direction. Trust me, you’ll see. It’s not just words that lead to nothing-it’s the beginning of something you didn’t even know you needed.
