They look great! And you explained everything so well as you sewed along 😊 I’m a newbie in trouser sewing and I prefer the vogue method of crotch sewing! That way I can also check the fit before I sew the side seam.

I made the jacket and pants in V1966 in 1975 from a green gaberdine. Sadly the pattern is long gone.

I like the boat neck dress M2365 in the fabric with a little more body. The sleeve caps look so pretty. I’m also thinking of shortening this pattern to make a cute tunic.

On page 8 the blouse M2360 and trousers M2361were sewn from the same ochre print fabric to create a jumpsuit look with the convenience and versatility of separates. What a great idea! Thanks for sharing.

No idea which parts you are sewing, you don't hold pattern pieces up or show them before pinning and sewing. Disappointed 😢

What do you suggest if I was shortening a dress with a ruffle. I took the ruffle off and cut the dress on a manican. Now because of my butt, it's too short in the back! I have the ruffle fabric but Noone to help pin it on. I have no idea how to save the dress. Any ideas? ❤

Hi Sarah 😊. I love the nautical sheets. And the vine and grey flowers sheets. They will be so pretty for dresses. Can’t wait to see them made up. I love using sheets as well to sew with. Sometimes I don’t even have to hem because I just use the sheet hem. I have to admit I love that.

How do you buy thrifted used sewing patterns? What if a pattern piece is missing?

The butterfly sheets are so pretty. What a wonderful fabric source for easy-care summer clothes!

Oh and I forgot to tell you that I found a really cool book at the Dollarama in Ontario where I live, and I thought of you as soon as I saw it. It’s called HRH so many thoughts on Royal style by Elizabeth Holmes. I have no idea if it’s any good, but it’s all about the clothing that they choose, and the tiaras and the crowns and the rules. I think it was four dollars and it’s a hardcover book with lots of pictures and I thought it just looked fun. Have a great weekend.

Hi Sarah 😊. They look really cute. I have some large round river rocks I could paint. Maybe I’ll give it a try. I just came back today from a value village shopping trip. I found some beautiful ikea sheets to use for sewing a few dresses. They are 100% cotton and in perfect condition. I found a few cute patterns and a whole lot of books by my favourite author. I was very happy to find books I didn’t have already in my collection. It was fun.

Hi. I live on the eastern slope of the Rocky Mountains. I have plenty of rocks, LOL. I have been using big washers from the hardware store. This is much nicer and fun. Thank you and have a nice day.
