Krug has not played well the Las couple of years and this may be a big reason why. He drove me nuts the last couple of years and I just wanted him gone. Everything that came out kinds of points to this may be a career ender. A quality of life decision which has caused many early ends of careers. Watching his press conference if was really hard on him and you have to feel for the guy. He has a family and is set for life, so he has a lot to look forward too. Good luck to him.

I am a Pred but in this case - hats off to Army. Buttman is a disgrace to NHL and an honorable battle. Anything that can humiliate him and a franchise that believe its ok to redeploy him in a key position- cheers.

It's been 20 years since I last played organized hockey as well. After watching this, Mr Day is my hero for the day and probably for the rest of the week. What a gutsy move to make a return to the rink after 20 years to play one of the most difficult positions, hockey goalie in all of sports!!!

I don't think the Gold Plan goes far enough. I'm sick of seeing poorly run franchises being rewarded with high picks, spending 4,5,6 years hoarding picks and prospects. 2 groups, teams that make the playoffs, teams that don't, each assigned picks from 1-16 and 17-32 respectively, RANDOMLY. I could live with a SMALL weighting factor for lower placing teams, that's it. The Gold Plan would just have bad teams racing to be eliminated mathematically first.

To this day I miss Pro Beach Hockey. I would watch it after Saturday Morning cartoon. I always had a blast watching it.

Great show, really enjoyed it. Your hockey tourrament is for a really good cause, your Dad would be impressed. If I was in St Lou and 20 years younger, I would be paying my 60 bucks to play.
