To my suprise you come across this malay sponge cake. In my country it is called ma lai ko. It is not easy to get that perfect sponge texture! You are trully skilled and i bet your version tastes amazing. Am sure your partner will be pestering you to bake for him, hahaha!

I always look forward to your videos because they're so beautifully filmed and so calming at the same time. It always makes me feel good when I get to see Kome and the Japanese dishes that you make. I love Japan and I feel like I am there, when I watch your videos. If you haven't seen the JDrama "Where does the sea begin?" I highly recommend it. ❤️
