I have a 1991 Land Cruiser I bought wrecked with a blown motor and brought it back to life.
My 2002 4runner has been in my family since it was brand new. It is the reason for my love of Toyota's.
Join me as I work on my vehicles, do some cool modifications, and go out and enjoy Arizona's public lands!
I started this channel to work on and improve the craft of video editing and story telling. I volunteer for a non-profit and all my efforts here are directly for the goal of growing the nonprofit into being bigger and better.

San Hima Offroad Traction Boards - Are Traction Boards right for you?
San Hima reached out wanting us to review their traction boards with two requirements.
1. Do a bridge test.
2. Make it it's own video.
We accepted under these terms where we are allowed to be truthful and give an honest endorsement or critique of fail points.
What is not shows is the MANY MANY times we ran these over.
Here is an affiliate link to the boards: amzn.to/3Dtc4q8
Thank you.
This is not going to become a gear review channel. This is probably the only one we are going to be doing for a good amount of time as I really did not enjoy it as much as I do going out fishing or just having fun with my family outdoors.

The running joke in my group of friends is that my wife, no matter what fishing pole she has, will outfish you. She was on the cover of a fishing magazine when she was a kid for catching a record bass with a barbie fishing pole. So I had nothing but confidence bringing her out to catch some fish and she did not disappoint. This is at Woods Canyon Lake near Heber AZ right on the Mogollon Rim, ab...

I tried to make the best of my day before i started work, so this is a short video. I again come up short with no fish, disappointing I know. I am just grateful I was able to get out and try again. My Budget 80 Series Land Cruiser Camping Setup
มุมมอง 11K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
This is a brief overview of my camping set up on my 1991 Land Cruiser. It seems most people on this platform use it to sell you stuff you don’t need. I would like to show you how you can still have a great experience in a budget minded manner. I seldom buy things brand new, I much rather use that same money to fill my tank to go new places. I purposefully omitted showing my battery station sinc...

My first outdoor video, a lot of my footage was lost due to some issues with sd cards. I tried to salvage what I could. I hope you enjoy.
Nice walkthrough!
@@Tony_1200 thank you!
I love my 4runner build, but this thing is beautiful! Nice set up! I use the San Hima tire deflators. Im pretty happy with them so far. Subbed fo sho.
@@OneEyedOtis thank you so much! We are glad to have you along. I took a look at your channel, I love those earlier 5th gen’s like yours. Excited to see more of your videos as well!
@MonahanOutdoors thank you! Much appreciated. Enjoy the holidays!
Your videos look amazing man good job
Thank you so much!
Just found your channel, Very nice
@@rosendofj40bigblock7 glad to have you with us, thank you for the support!
Do you get a lot of wind noise with the hood raised up on the back? I took my roof rack off just because I thought that’s where the noise was coming from
Maybe a little noise from the hood risers but the majority comes from the roof rack. I am in the process of making a wind deflector with a light bar incorporated in it.
Did you put the strips on yourself? Nice rig
@@rosendofj40bigblock7 yeah, my wife got a kit for them, and I just put them on. She didn’t realize the 91-92 LC’s in Australia don’t have the flares and bought that kit. so I had to try to make them fit the best I could to a LC with the flares.
@ looks good
Where can I get those boards?

Could not get my truck stuck....darn those Landcruiser's! 😂😂😂 World wide travel for a reason...😉
@@TRONA-CA it honestly was a little aggravating considering how much time I spent trying with the 9mpg 😂 I dug holes with my shovel. I spun my tires in water. There was much effort involved.
How did your Cruiser handle the drive up north? I drove mine up to Payton last March and I was topping out at 55 going up hill 😂
@@OffroadFlipthe only real part it struggled is when going from Payson to Heber. Mine is desmogged and I run efans so the power is a night and day difference from stock. If you’re in the valley you’re welcome to see for yourself the difference it makes. I also had to basically refreshed the whole motor so it runs like a top.
@@OffroadFlip my bad wrong video, it just struggled right before sunset point!
great video and its always good to visit and have a mothers cooking. I'm not sure how familiar you are with coyotes, but if you can. Hike at least a 1/2 mile away from where you'll set up, get there before the sun rise. If you go in the evening, plan on staying until there is almost no more light. I'm still learning myself, just thought i'd past on what i learned. THEY'RE VERY SMART
Thank you for the info I’ll surely take it! As you can tell I’m no pro! With the coyotes my parents have been encountering not being afraid of being 10 ft away from them and not scaring with warning shots; I figured I’d take a very relaxed approach with this. In the future I do plan on doing a more in depth “real” hunt on public land and you will see a much more effort! (Maybe even camo lol) I appreciate you taking the time to watch and time to share!
@ yeah that’s always the case. I think they can smell the ammo and adrenaline in the air for sure also haha I’ll be looking forward to that content. I also got camo too. 🤣
Great job! How many acres does you mom have?
Thank you, I believe it’s 40 acres!
@@MonahanOutdoors Pretty much what I'm looking for to build our family compound. Nice
@ all the larger lots around them have been being bought and subdivided into 1,5 acre lots so finding a larger one (that’s nice) is getting increasingly difficult.
Nice rig. Very capable. 😊
Thank you! They sure are a great platform.
I feel like this is the only way I can spend time with you now

I liked this one a lot. It would be sick to catch a kill on camera lol keep it up homie
@@DaddyDaGuido yeah hopefully next outing I can get something! Thank you!
Just watched your vid bro. That spot you posted up on looked like a great spot for coyotes. What call you got? That land looks awesome. 👏🏽 👏🏽👏🏽
Thanks for watching! Yeah it was a good spot, probably post up in the same spot next time I am up there. I use the mojo super critter but I need something louder for sure.
@ nice yeah started out with one of those along time ago. I’ve been running a shockwave for sometime now and I have to say it’s a lot louder and the sounds are way sharper. Makes a huge difference.
@@alexalvarez9462 I’ll look into one of those thank you for the recommendation!
Man this was great , I’m looking to do the same thing soon you gave me so many ideas, what would you upgrade your solar panels too ?
@@EthanGalloway-c9d a more efficient panel mounted to the roof rack I think is what direction I’m heading. I’m glad I was able to help in any way!
Absolutely cool! Simple, use what you have and can find at a discount-these are my favorite type of builds...
@@TRONA-CA-99 that’s the goal! Gotta make every dollar stretch these days and with 2 kids I just can’t bring myself to spend the kind of money others do on gear that’s brand new instead of saving and getting stuff that does the same thing at a cheaper price.
Love your build! Keep up the great work.

I have a 1997 80 series and I’m always in the outlook for good content to watch on builds and camping. Yours grabbed my attention, but what made me decide to subscribe, pretty much right off the bat, was the notation “Consider subscribing” as a suggestion. It wasn’t an ask, and it wasn’t a statement, but just a request, and I really appreciate that. Your content is really good, and you have a new sub 👍👍
